- In the turn of the century South, a woman feels unfulfilled by marriage and motherhood and has an affair with a younger man. Later, the woman leaves her family and tries to start a new life alone.
- Guests Buddy Ebsen, Polly Bergen and Hugh O'Brian parody problems found in the average American home. Sketches focus on an overworked housewife, a husband trying to sneak out for a night of bowling and the problem of excess "togetherness."
- Psychiatrist Dr. Roy Fleming has fallen in love with pretty patient Susan Hudson. There's just one problem: Fleming is married, and divorcing his wealthy wife Claire isn't an option, so Fleming decides to eliminate her with the help of Susan. Their foolproof plan for the perfect murder could be foiled by Columbo, a tenacious and suspicious police lieutenant.
- The husbands and boyfriends of Lisa Townsend had something in common: they all met with violent deaths. When husband No. 3 has a near-fatal accident, it's another unusual coincidence. Or is it?

- 1956–1963TV EpisodeDinah's guests are dancer Gwen Verdon, comedians Groucho Marx and Carl Reiner and boxer Ingemar Johansson. Dinah sings a medley of tunes from her new LP, and teams with Groucho for "Peasy Weasy." Verdon does her Irby Fitch production from "Redhead." Gwen and Dinah flirt shamelessly with Ingemar as he gives them boxing lessons.
- In a salute to Dixieland, Dinah devotes the hour to jazz and blues numbers, with a little Latin beat included in Perez Prado's segment. Al Hirt really Jams, but the highlight is a montage sung by Dinah, Andy and Ella that moves along nicely, though it is sustained for about ten minutes straight. They really could sing in those days.
