- After his family is murdered by a notorious and ruthless bandit, a former police officer enlists the services of two outlaws to capture the bandit.

- Arun takes on the responsibility for the care of his step-mother (Sujatha) and step-sisters on the death of his father. Neema sells her jewelry to support her brother's education, without any return on her investment. She and Abhinandan live a life of genteel poverty on the charity of another brother. Divorce court judgment leaves Arun dissatisfied and resentful and he does not meet his son for years. Meanwhile, Neema feeling wronged and cheated by Arun thinks he has remarried and has a new child. The thread of the story begins to unravel when Abhinandan comes to Bombay for higher education. Does Abhinandan hate his father? Does he ride his Rajdoot-Bobby motorcycle from Bombay to Nasik? What happens when Neema and Arun come face to face, after many years in common grief, worry and concern for the well being of a loved one is to be watched.

Neena, who is wealthy, and has taken crime as a career, finds out and wants Ravi to move in with her, but he turns her down. Then romance enters Ravi's life in the shape and form of Radha, who lives a wealthy lifestyle in Delhi. Both fall in love with each other, Ravi introduces her to his dad, who instantly approves. Then Ravi is invited to visit Delhi to meet Radha's aunt, and it is here that Ravi will come to know Radha's aunt is none other than Neena herself, and he will find out that Radha was merely an attractive bait to lure him and force him to live with his biological mother.

They marry in the end after over coming all problems. Yogita is perfect as the innocent gullible college girl. Anil is likable in any role , as a confused lover, as a confident psychiatrist - even when he is sizzling , dancing , prancing with his former girl friends by a roaring fire side. Kabir Bedi with his great height and figure is aptly cast in his small role as the Gardner. he has no dialogues but speaks with his eyes . Over all , a very relevant movie even today .
- Sujit started having mental problems when he was six years after visiting his dad, Ajit, at a mental asylum. Thereafter he kept on getting into trouble, and even ran away from the orphanage. Years later a Musician and Singer, Shyam, found Sujit singing on the roadside, and decided to hire him as a singer in a nightclub. This is where Sujit meets dancer, Jenny, and both fall in love with each other. When they announce their plans to get married, the news does not auger well with the nightclub's owner, Max, an argument ensues, Max draws a gun, and Shyam ends up killing Max. Sujit decides to take the blame, is arrested by the police, he feigns insanity, and is ordered to be admitted in a mental asylum until he recovers. In the asylum he is placed under the compassionate care of Dr. Shalini and about one year later is discharged. He returns to the nightclub just in time to for Jenny's and Shyam's engagement party. Baffled, confused, and angered at this betrayal, he really does go insane and ends up being re-admitted in the very same asylum. But this time his chances of recovery are very slim as he has retreated deep into the inner recesses of his mind - from where he may never return.
