- In this revival of the charming Aussie series, Sonny Hammond is a park ranger with two children Jerry and Louise. The kids are involved in adventures that often have an environmental theme. Kate Burgess is a researcher at the habitat.

The filming was done mainly in Rarratonga (cook islands) with a great cast and beautiful settings.

Sam tells his father that he knows the gun was switched. Ed organizes a hunting party to track down Wheels and Sheridan.
- Two shots ring out from the hideaway when Ed barrels in. Penny is open to get married to suit both their circumstances but Jamie is not sure. Jo Jo tries to get Valentine to see sense. Penny needs a loan. Dr Rock attempts to warn the fugitives on the radio but is it too late? Wheels is caught much to Ed's satisfaction. Sheridan has a plan.
- Wheels is impressed with Sheridan for their lucky escape while Ed feels humiliated. The party continues at Penny's to celebrate the escape. Jamie pays for Penny's rent when she is about to be evicted. Sheridan considers their options. Ed pressures Valentine by saying Sheridan is pregnant. Dr Rock organizes Wheels to speak to Ed Farrell and an arrangement is made to return but is this a set up? Sam asks his dad not to pull the trigger. Dr Rock feels the wrath of Ed.
- Wheels wants to sell the car as too conspicuous. Amy gets a new patient to look after at the hospital called Mr Richardson. Ed turns up at the station drunk. Penny tries to get Charlie to understand the arrangement with Jamie. Amy is nervous around her patient. Bob pays a visit. Ed talks to Elly about the connection between Steven and Sheridan. The fugitives steel a new car. Ed visits an unconscious Richardson. Wheels works up his courage to propose. The patient awakes.
- Valentine and JoJo try to find Wheels. Amy seeks advice from Elly about Steven Richardson. Jamie is frustrated when working from the pub so puts an ultimatum to Penny and Charlie. Wheels tells Sheridan that they are not giving up. Elly visits Steven and tells Amy to keep monitoring despite her fears. Charlie starts to bond with Jamie. Dr Rock arranges Reverend Bob to marry Wheels and Sheridan over the radio. A drunk Ed searches for the fugitives with his gun.
