- Falchi is a melodrama set in the city of Naples, in its pulsating multi ethnic veins. The movie tells the story of two agents of the Special Squad of Naples, a police unit that investigates organized crime. Though impeccable at their work, the two cops hide strong weaknesses, shady secrets, loneliness, and overwhelming passions in their private lives.

Inspired by real events, this docudrama, narrated by the director, depicts a young woman, named Lucia, metaphysically lost in the passionate and vibrant streets of Naples. Meanwhile, two local men, Sebastiano and Ciccio, are sent to murder their partner-in-crime Carmine for being un-loyal to their business. Mixed in among the drama are interviews with local residents and inmates of a men's and women's prison detailing their lives in the poverty and crime-ridden city of Naples.
- The foolish servant Pulcinella is sent from the depths of Mt. Vesuvius to present-day Campania to honor the last wishes of the poor shepherd Tommaso: his mission is to save a young buffalo called Sarchiapone. Pulcinella finds the animal at the former royal palace of Carditello, where Tommaso had looked after the ruined Bourbon estate in the heart of the Land of Fires. He takes the buffalo off to the north and the two servants, man and beast, travel through a beautiful and lost Italy, but their long journey's end does not bring what they were hoping for.
