- In the time before World War II, a bloody conflict that erupts between villagers and Japan's Special Higher Police forces.
- A sensible film portraying a mute girl Machi, who is expressing her feelings with her own captivating dancing. She lives an ordinary life, but can find beauty in things, that people in her surroundings cannot always understand. It is a story of an unusual friendship between simple Machi and her loyal friend, who is always there for her.
