As the guys spend the weekend with Jay's parents, they begin to understand their friend Jay's behavior a little better. At the dance, Simon is hoping to do it with Becky, a girl who Jay has purportedly slept with and who wants to spend time with Simon after seeing his photograph beforehand. And Will has what looks to be a sure thing with a punk goth girl who doesn't want any foreplay whatsoever. In the meantime, Neil seems content having his own fun until...
- To the amazement - and annoyance - of the other three boys, Will takes off with Charlotte Hinchcliffe, the most desired girl in the school, who just happens to be dating his nemesis, Mark Donovan. Nevertheless, at a party, he even ends up in bed with her though he keeps his socks on.

Rose spots her ex-boyfriend at the party with another girl, and Sage gives her some bad advice on how to make him jealous. As Megan seeks advice from Charlie to mend this damage, she further develops more feelings with Will. Later, Megan has to rescue both Rose and Sage after the two get caught by the police for driving without a license, and tries to keep Laurel from finding out in order to save her job and reputation since a single blemish on one's life is considered social suicide in the snobbish, high society, world of Palm Beach.

Also, Megan begins taking surfing lessons from Charlie as part of her writers inspiration, while she continues to grow jealous when she finds out that Lily is dating Will, and realizes that no matter how much she tries to make amends meet to her estranged sister, Lily will always hold a grudge against Megan... no matter what.
- Megan becomes disturbed when she finds an adult DVD in Rose's book bag in which she plans to use as practice for sex with her boyfriend Max, and Megan is further unnerved when she learns that Rose is not a virgin. Megan then decides to go on a date with Jacob, but becomes worried when he may ask her to spend the night. Meanwhile, Sage meets Lily at her beauty salon and asks her out to lunch to dig up any dirt on Megan to use to her own advantage.
- When Laurel goes out of town, she asks Megan to chaperon a pool-party that the girls are hosting. Rose convinces Megan to invite her sister, Lily, to the party. Charlie confesses his love for Megan to Marco. At the pool party, Megan is forced to deal with underage drinking and the possibility that Lily may have stolen one of Rose's diamond tennis bracelets.
- In an effort to bond Laurel with her granddaughters, Megan suggests that Laurel use the twins in a new advertising campaign for her cosmetics company. The plan backfires when Laurel announces that the girls would miss several weeks of school for a European photo shoot, preventing Megan from tutoring them properly. Deciding that his feelings for Megan are hindering him, Charlie begins distancing himself from Megan, but will not explain his actions. Meanwhile, Megan discovers that she is not the only woman in Jacob's life.
- Megan has a run-in with her estranged father whom she decides to make an effort to reconcile by inviting him over at the mansion for dinner. But Arthur Smith inadvertently brings along Lily which brings up more tension since she and Megan are still not speaking to one another. Meanwhile, Megan has Sage and Rose do some charity work by having them design some evening gowns for a local school, in which Sage decides to take some issues over the designs in her own hands. Elsewhere, Megan has an argument with Charlie when she finds out that he told her father that she was back in town after she told him not to tell anyone.
- Megan tells Laurel she wants to write a biography about her, but Laurel wants to hire a ghost writer to write the book which makes Megan feel left out. But later, Megan investigates and learns a dark secret from Laurel's past. Meanwhile, Rose and Sage have different goals when Sage hires a publicist, named Patty Kingston, to boost their fame careers when Rose thinks school is more important.
- Megan is thrilled when her former college roommate Caryn visits and updates her on her present career, which prompts Megan to think about her own life and where it might lead. She also confides in Caryn about her interest in Will, who has taken a job as an assistant photographer for a magazine editor, and who is not aware of his wealthy background. Meanwhile, Rose and Sage's publicist books them for their first gig as a singing act at a prestigious nightclub where Sage becomes jealous that Rose will eclipse her in the spotlight.
- On a field trip to the Dorset coast Jay fails to locate the mythical housewife who deflowers schoolboys, Neil becomes a (paedophile) teacher's pet and Will and Simon fall out over pretty new girl Lauren. To cut their losses the boys take a boat around the bay but Simon falls in and ends up nude in front of the whole coach party with only a sock to cover his modesty.
- Following a disappointing Valentine's Day, a mix-up in the work experience programme means that Neil gets to work in a newspaper office whilst Will is stuck in a garage, where he gets stripped and thrown in a pond as an initiation ceremony. Unwisely he inadvertently invites a work colleague to the school disco, where Simon gets a pleasant surprise from a female admirer.A run-in with a younger boy, however, means that ultimately the boys end up facing their customary public humiliation.
- It's Will's seventeenth birthday and he is planning a dinner party but it clashes with a more popular bash so that his only guests are Neil, Jay, Simon and Simon's exchange student Patrice. Out of boredom they gate-crash the other party but only one of them is asked to stay and then bedded by the hostess as a sex object. The other four are sent packing. Needless to say none of those four are French.
- Will decides the boys should reinvent themselves as trendy clubbers and they drive to London in Simon's car, though to gain entry to the best club in town Simon must swap his trainers for a tramp's filthy old shoes. Neil cuts his penis weeing into a can and when Jay inspects the damage they are ejected as perverts. Can things get any worse for the lads? The wheel-clamping of Simon's car might provide the answer.

Their first task is as volunteers in an old folks' home, where Daisy, Will's pretty ex-baby-sitter, is a care assistant, though his date with her goes wrong after a cruel prank played on him by Jay. And it is Jay's customarily sex-mad behaviour that gets the boys tossed off - an operative phrase - the scheme for good.
- The end of term exams loom. Simon, to the detriment of his own subjects, is excited when Carli comes to his house to revise, revealing that she is single again and rewarding him with kisses. Jay, for once, swaps lust for romance when he is smitten by Chloe, a sweet young girl from another school. Neil forgets his P.E. kit but gets through in his vest and pants and Will has an accident with his bowels after too many energy drinks but still gets his grades. However, Chloe drops Jay for being "too sensitive", Carli goes back to her ex-boyfriend and the boys end up with each other, useless lovers but good friends.
