- Features experiments 1 through 7 as we start The Chibi Project and try to destroy a Chibi Moon toy figure. There are 8 more experiments to go before we move on to other anime toys. This features some photos from the original experiments as well as dramatic re-creations of some of the testing.
- Features experiments 8 through 15 as The Chibi Project continues to try to destroy a Chibi Moon toy figure. It also features an interview with voice actor Scott McNeil and we answer some viewer mail. This completes coverage of all experiments to date on Chibi Moon as we have moved on to other anime toys for future experiments.
- With 15 experiments on Chibi Moon completed, The Chibi Project has moved on to conducting tests on other anime toys. The first subject of our experiments? Burning Gundam. With a name like that, he was just asking for it. Also, we feature our first review and answer some fan mail.
- Ever wonder what would happen if you stuck a Sailor Venus doll in a potato cannon? Have you wondered what would happen if you shot potatoes at Sailor Venus? We did. We taped it too and now it's posted on the Internet for all to see. Also, we review Apples to Apples and answer viewer e-mail.
- For several months, we've been taking anime bootlegs and fansubs off of people's hands with the promise of destroying them. That time has come.
- Shortly after PatrickD's own custom Dancing Baby Groot went viral, a company started selling an officially licensed version. It looks gross, is too small, and he doesn't even say, "I am Groot." It's time to chop some wood.
- Over ten years ago, PatrickD read a web page from someone who got a Fresnel lens and melted a bunch of things. He claimed he could melt concrete. This sounded like the perfect test for some Sailor Moon dolls we got our hands on. Also, we review Idiocracy and answer viewer e-mail.
- For the fifth year, The Chibi Project packed a panel room full of crazy fans at Anime Boston. Making her first live appearance, Jekka joined PatrickD as they took a wire brush to Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon.
- Almost as long as The Chibi Project has been around, people have been asking us to "drop her from a building", "drop her from 50 feet in the sky", or "drop her from [insert high place here]!" We've been fairly reluctant to do a drop test since we prefer the more elaborate tests, but when the opportunity to drop toys from the top of Dragon's Descent at Funtown Splashtown U.S.A. came around, we couldn't pass that up. For this experiment, Bill, the head of maintenance at Funtown, went up 200 feet to the top of Dragon's Descent during his daily 7:00 am maintenance and safety check. While he was up there, he dropped a Chibi Moon doll, EVA Unit 01, and Psyduck. It all happened so fast. However, one of those dropped survived to be tested another day.
- A few years back, ADV Films started selling a plush toy of Menchi from Excel Saga that came shrink-wrapped to a charcoal grill. It was an in-joke that referenced Menchi being the "emergency food supply" in the show. Of course, when we got our hands on one, what else would we do with it but actually grill Menchi?
- At Anime Boston, one of our fans donated a clow wand from Card Captor Sakura. We knew right away that we wanted to imitate the way Sakura uses her wand...but smash it. We also knew that it would be best done in front of a live audience, so we took the show on the road to Bakuretsu Con 2007 and performed the experiment in front of fans.
- Someone donated dolls of all five of the main Sailor Moon characters. Seeing everyone go out and cut down Christmas trees gave us an idea...to use a chainsaw to cut through the dolls rather than a tree. We get assistance from our theme song composer, K.T.F. Terison and discover that chainsaws aren't quite as unstoppable as you might think.
- What started out as a suggestion at last year's Chibi Project panel at Anime Boston grew into a full test at this year's panel. Chibi Moon is "tarred" using rubberized driveway crack sealer packaged in a caulking tube. After being covered in black caulk, she is "feathered". At the end of the podcast, The Chibi Project crew answer audience questions and reveal a new voice mail line.
