Peter becomes the new hero and Jim must find a new job. Also, Jim notices that the show's budget is running out.

- Psy-Crow forces the narrator to read that him and Professor Monkey-For-A-Head have overthrown Queen Slug-for-a-Butt, which automatically happens. Ethel Bleveridge takes her in. To stop them, Jim and Princess What's-Her-Name need her help.
- Evil the Cat comes into possession of a key that allows him to control The Great Beast That Dares Not Speak Its Name. But his plans are put in jeopardy when the Beast turns out to be in Jim's possession.
- Jim, having had enough of Peter's deadly tantrums, sets about finding away to cure his transformation problems. The quest leads us back to how and why Peter is so intelligent.
