- DirectorGeorge MillerStarsTom HardyCharlize TheronNicholas HoultIn a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a woman rebels against a tyrannical ruler in search for her homeland with the aid of a group of female prisoners, a psychotic worshiper and a drifter named Max.Mad Max: Fury Road is one of my favorite movies of all time, it was just fun all around. It was great to see and the more you think about it the more you will want to see it again. I actually thought about this movie being lower but every time I think about it I have to put it at number one. The action is great, the story is amazing, and the performances from the cast are stellar. I loved this movie.
- DirectorRyan CooglerStarsMichael B. JordanSylvester StalloneTessa ThompsonThe former World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Balboa serves as a trainer and mentor to Adonis Johnson, the son of his late friend and former rival Apollo Creed.I loved this movie and was expecting it to be good but not as good as it was. If it were made in a different year, it may have been number 1.
- DirectorAlejandro G. IñárrituStarsLeonardo DiCaprioTom HardyWill PoulterA frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820s fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team. This and the Martian were very close and could have been interchanged. I liked both movies a lot and Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon did excellent jobs in their respective roles.
- DirectorRidley ScottStarsMatt DamonJessica ChastainKristen WiigAn astronaut becomes stranded on Mars after his team assume him dead, and must rely on his ingenuity to find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive and can survive until a potential rescue.See above

I was not expecting it to be this good but when I saw it, I was blown away. This movie has so much emotion (no pun intended) and connects to you as a person.
- DirectorAlex GarlandStarsAlicia VikanderDomhnall GleesonOscar IsaacA young programmer is selected to participate in a ground-breaking experiment in synthetic intelligence by evaluating the human qualities of a highly advanced humanoid A.I.Another movie I was not expecting to be great was EX Machina. I was severely mistaken. This movie, from a technical standpoint was flawless. If you have not seen it, you need to.
- DirectorF. Gary GrayStarsO'Shea Jackson Jr.Corey HawkinsJason MitchellThe rap group NWA emerges from the mean streets of Compton in Los Angeles, California, in the mid-1980s and revolutionizes Hip Hop culture with their music and tales about life in the hood.I saw this movie in 2016 and I was extremely impressed. I was not expecting it to have such a deep story line but it did and it caught my attention very well.
- DirectorAdam McKayStarsChristian BaleSteve CarellRyan GoslingIn 2006-2007 a group of investors bet against the United States mortgage market. In their research, they discover how flawed and corrupt the market is.A confusing movie but despite the terminology that I did not know it was still a very entertaining movie.
- DirectorJ.J. AbramsStarsDaisy RidleyJohn BoyegaOscar IsaacAs a new threat to the galaxy rises, Rey, a desert scavenger, and Finn, an ex-stormtrooper, must join Han Solo and Chewbacca to search for the one hope of restoring peace.I am not a huge fan of the Star Wars series but I am very interested in the movies and this was on par with the original trilogy. It may be just me but I thought this was the best of the series.
- DirectorChristopher McQuarrieStarsTom CruiseRebecca FergusonJeremy RennerEthan and his team take on their most impossible mission yet when they have to eradicate an international rogue organization as highly skilled as they are and committed to destroying the IMF.This was a blockbuster hit and I enjoyed every minute of it. Tom Cruise never fails in this series (Except for Mission: Impossible 2).
