Unintentional Horror2 of 12
You may be thinking, "'The Electric Company' Really? Wasn't that the show that gave us that national treasure known as Morgan Freeman?" Yes, it is, and yes it did. But while watching Mr. Freeman and the rest of the cast was delightful, a few of the animated segments -- chiefly, a weird animated wiggly electric mouth that counted numbers in an odd robot voice -- scared the toots out of our of your friendly neighborhood TV editor when she was a tot.
UPDATE: So as one user pointed out, the weird mouth was actually on "Sesame Street". Mea culpa, and here's a link to a video of that freaky, freaky thing. However, my fear of "The Electric Company" remains as deep-rooted as they come. So while the weird mouth is not the cause, perhaps Morgan Freeman is to blame after all.
