But due to Mohanlal's poor fanbase in Tamil Nadu, the film went under "Average" category. Kollywood audience really expected Superstar Rajinikanth and Universal Hero Kamal Hassan to do the lead roles. - DirectorP.C. Actors Kamal Hassan, Arjun and Nasser excelled in the film. But the film failed at the boxoffice since the film lacks commercial content.
Note : This film has no songs. The film failed at Chennai boxoffice, since actor Mohanlal is not much familiar to kollywood audience. Eventhough this film has Prabhu as a part of the starcast, kollywood audience are not interested to support this classical cult.
