8. Lexa "The 100"
Date of Deaths: March 3, 2016 and May 19, 2016
Obituary: Lexa (Alycia Debnam Carey), Commander of the Grounder Clans, died from a gunshot wound on March 3, 2016 shortly after she consummated her relationship with Clarke (Eliza Taylor). Lexa's death was an accident; the shooter, Titus, wanted to kill Clarke. Lexa will be remembered for her leadership, her efforts to achieve peace, and her embodiment of the "bury your gays" TV trope. Lexa was briefly resurrected in the two-part Season 3 finale when Clarke saw her in the City of Light. Clarke declared her love, then Lexa nobly sacrificed herself to save Clarke. Lexa is survived by the Grounders, Clarke, and thousands of fans, many of whom are still very, very angry about her demise.
