Nicolas Pesce's Top 10 Black-and-White Horror Films1 of 11
To get you ready for Halloween, Nicolas Pesce shares his list of his favorite black-and-white horror movies. The young director is an expert in such things, since his American gothic film, The Eyes of My Mother starring Diana Agostini, is very much in this genre. With its creepy atmosphere and unsettling lead antagonist, the film has received critical success at this year's Sundance Film Festival and Fantastic Fest.
About this list, Pesce says, "I couldn’t bear to rank these movies. They're all too good. So, I've presented them in chronological order. I think it’s a very accurate sense of my taste, and each touches on a different aspect of The Eyes of My Mother."
