"The Great British Baking Show" | Streaming Now on Netflix
There is a very real sense of relief that comes from pressing play on an episode of "Bake-off." Beloved hosts have come and gone (we still miss the presence of Mary Berry and the dynamic duo of Mel & Sue) but the wholesome nature of this series and its diverse contestants set it apart from any other competition show out there. Whether for a "stodgy" short crust or a "claggy" Victoria sponge, most baker eliminations result in tears and hugs, and we're grateful for that display of community and genuine care.
Rating: TV-PG
