Aya Cash shares with IMDbPro her funniest audition story, lessons learned on the set of The Boys, and more!2 of 5
IMDbPro: Do you have any mentors? How did you meet them and what have they taught you?
Aya Cash: I have had many wonderful friends who were farther along in their careers who helped me in this business. I worked at Great River Shakespeare Festival and ended up living with two of the actors in NY, Heidi Armbruster and Kim Martin-Cotton. They taught me so much and really helped welcome me into NY. They gave me a place to live and a roadmap for how to live an actor’s life, which often has nothing to do with acting. Things like: How do you make a living? How do you schedule your days? How do you make space for art when you are working a day job? They led by example.
