The traumatic death of Aurora's mother restores her singing voice, but she finally realizes that true love comes but once to every woman, and she chooses to stay in the village as Phineas' wife.

Prince Vanno goes in search of the innocent Mary, arriving in time to save his love from adventurers who are attempting to steal her wealth.

After Helen covers for him, Picard catches the thief in an attempt to swindle the entire community in a stock market scheme. He informs the police that Picard no longer exists, and escapes with Helen to a new life.
