- Born in Budapest, Peter Foldy spent his formative years in Sydney, Australia where he landed work as a teen actor in TV commercials. After a family move to Canada, Foldy enrolled in film school but supported himself by playing guitar in a rock band. After landing a recording contract Foldy sustained a successful 10-year run in the music business but eventually returned to his first love, film. To date he has directed eleven features and has worked with actors such as Paul Rudd, Beverly D'Angelo, Eugene Levy, and Academy Award winner, Louise Fletcher. - Had a #1 Canadian hit record with "Bondi Junction," a song Foldy wrote about his childhood home in Australia. The record received 2 Juno Award nominations and also hit the Billboard Singles Charts in the USA.
