- Well-known Philadelphia radio and TV personality, called "The Geator with the Heater." He began as a dancer on American Bandstand (1952) in 1953, became a disc jockey in 1960 and had a nationally syndicated TV dance show, "The Discophonic Scene" (1960), and talk show, "Jerry' s Place" (1960), in the 1960s.
