He’s no womanizer like his Masters of Sex character Dr. Austin Langham, but Teddy Sears has had an appreciation for the female form for some time now—as long as there’s no food involved.
Sears admits he didn’t get what all the fuss over 9 1/2 Weeks’ iconic refrigerator scene was about: “That scene when all the foodstuffs come out? You lost me. That’s when I turned it off.” Then again, he was only 9 or 10 years old at the time.
It’s unlikely the same could be said of Langham if he had come of age during Kim Basinger’s controversy-stirring prime.

All the pilot casting that's fit to print:
Kiefer Sutherland has officially said "yes" to starring in Fox's drama pilot "Touch," from "Heroes" creator Tim Kring. Word that the "24" star was in talks for the project got out last week, but there was some question about when "Touch" would shoot since Sutherland is currently on Broadway in a revival of "That Championship Season." That's been cleared up: The pilot will likely shoot in early June, which means "Touch" would probably be in the mix for a midseason spot in 2011-12. [Hollywood Reporter]
Former Joss Whedon regular Alan Tudyk ("Firefly," "Dollhouse") has been banished to "Suburgatory." Tudyk will co-star in the ABC comedy pilot about a teenager (Jane Levy) who has to move from Manhattan to the 'burbs with her dad. Tudyk will play an old friend of the father and a long-time suburbanite. [Deadline]

Lucy Liu may star in Lifetime's two-part miniseries "Marry Me" (Sunday and Monday, Dec. 12-13 at 9 p.m. Et) -- about a woman who receives three marriage proposals and has to pick her one Prince Charming -- but the actress hasn't really given her own wedding day much thought.
"It's not so much to me about the fairy tale wedding as it is about meeting the right person," she tells the press to promote her romantic comedy debut. "I think if you ended up wearing a paper bag and ate pizza for the reception, you wouldn't really care because you'd be so happy because you were with the right person."
That viewpoint plays out in "Marry Me" for Rae Ann Carter (Liu), a social worker who's ignored her dreams of becoming an artist and feels that it's time to settle down ... but not settle for less than the perfect person for her.

It's not difficult to imagine three men wanting to marry Lucy Liu.
The Emmy-nominated actress tries her hand at the romantic comedy with Lifetime's two-night event "Marry Me," airing Sunday, Dec. 12 and Monday, Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. Et each night.
In the lighthearted miniseries, Rae Ann Carter (Liu) doesn't want to settle for anything less than Prince Charming, but somehow lands herself three of them -- Luke (Steven Pasquale), Adam (Bobby Cannavale) and Harry (Enrique Murciano) -- and they all want to marry her. What's an attractive, yet hopelessly romantic girl to do?
In Zap2it's exclusive first-look clip above, we see Rae pretending not to agonize over the fact that Luke, whom she's only known a short time, hasn't called her when he's away on business. Her co-workers aren't exactly helping her state of mind, which is probably why she makes that fatal error at the end of the clip.
