Aleco was born in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico and is a dual
Mexican and U.S. citizen. His father was the renowned Mexican matador,
Jaime Bravo, whose untimely death thwarted
the matador's budding crossover into the American film market. His
mother was a showgirl in the legendary Vegas show, The Folies Bergere.
His two older half-brothers, Jaime A. Bravo and Estefan Bravo, are the sons of the 1953's War Of The Worlds (1953) star, Ann Robinson. Jaime, Jr. became a
director with ABC Sports and has numerous Emmy awards.
