- Kasi Brown is an actress/writer/director from Lawrence, Kansas known for directing and starring in the indie hit, Gone Doggy Gone, which won 12 awards at 18 festivals in 2014. Before risking it all to head out to Los Angeles, she graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Theater and Film. She went on to produce and star in A Woman Reported (Sundance 2004) and co-wrote and starred in NEXT! (best comedy web-series NextTV 2010).
