Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with another sexual assault lawsuit this week, with the latest in a string of legal complaints coming from a woman claiming the beleaguered rapper-fashion mogul subjected her to sexual assault, battery and gender-motivated violence over several years in the early days of his fame in the 1990s.
April Lampros is claiming in the lawsuit filed in New York on Thursday that she was subjected to several “terrifying sexual encounters” by Combs, whom she met in 1994 when she was 21 years old and studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. According to the suit, Lampros, 51, was showered with gifts by the rapper, who she claims also made promises to help her find a successful career in the fashion industry.
But Lampros says in 1995 Combs began to abuse and coerce her into situations. At one point, she says she woke up in a Manhattan hotel room “nude,...

Netflix has secured the exclusive distribution rights to the highly anticipated documentary Diddy Do It, produced by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film & Television.
While many assumed that 50 Cent’s threat to release a documentary about his nemesis was a mere troll, the rapper and television producer was working behind the scenes.
According to TMZ, the documentary delves into the numerous sexual assault allegations against the influential rapper and producer, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Combs, a towering figure in the music industry and Bad Boy label boss, known for launching the careers of Notorious B.I.G. and Mary J. Blige, has faced a cascade of legal troubles and public scrutiny due to a series of sexual assault accusations.
The allegations, some dating back decades, have resurfaced with new evidence and lawsuits, sparking a wave of public interest that fueled a fierce bidding war for the documentary rights.

Former model Crystal McKinney has filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs alleging she was drugged and sexually assaulted by the music mogul at his New York City recording studio in 2003.
According to the complaint, filed in New York and obtained by and reported on by NBC News, a then 22-year-old McKinney, first met Combs at a dinner at Cipriani Downtown in Manhattan and was told she “was going to make it big one day” as a model and was promised help in her career.
The lawsuit adds that later that evening McKinney went to Combs’ recording studio and one of his associates offered her a joint of marijuana. “Plaintiff later came to understand that Combs had laced the joint with a narcotic or other intoxicating substance,” the suit alleges.

Just days after 2016 hotel security footage of Sean “Diddy” Combs beating on his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura was made public, a model is now claiming that Bad Boy Entertainment founder drugged and sexually assaulted her in his New York recording studio 21 years ago.
“Combs’ assault has altered the trajectory of (Crystal McKinney’s) career, denying her a successful and lucrative career in the modeling and film industries,” the filing today in federal court by Crystal McKinney says.
The winner of MTV’s Model Mission contest in 1998, then 22-year-old McKinney met the “Missing You” performer at a Men’s Fashion Week dinner in 2003 and was invited to his nearby studio, the complaint states. Already having been given quite a bit to drink, the plaintiff says she was encouraged to partake of some “very powerful” pot by Diddy – something several other accusers have detailed as an M.O. of the Bad Boy Entertainment founder.

CNN was hoping to get a little perspective about Sean Diddy Combs and the newly released video of him attacking a former girlfriend in 2016. Instead, they got a lesson on what happens when bookers don’t fully vet a potential guest.
On Monday, rapper Cam’ron was asked to comment about the hotel surveillance video that shows Combs grabbing, shoving, dragging and kicking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel. At first, Cam’ron appeared to play along, saying he doesn’t support domestic violence and “yeah, I was upset when I seen it.”
But when CNN anchor Abby Phillip pressed Cam’ron about whether he ever experienced such anger when hanging with Combs, the rapper seemed confused by the question.
“What do you mean do I recognize him?” he responded. “I’ve seen him and I thought it was disgusting. I didn’t do a zoom in to...

Meredith Firetog, a partner at Wigdor Llp, has lashed out in response to Sean Combs’ video post today in which he apologizes for the assault on his former girlfriend that was captured on a hotel video.
Wigdor represented Cassie Ventura in her settlement with Combs over an assault. The incident was captured on video that only surfaced in the last few days.
“Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt. When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. That he was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Former Company, Revolt, Issues Statement Condemning His Attack On Cassie Ventura
The employees of Revolt, the media company cofounded by Sean “Diddy” Combs, have reacted to the video showing him assaulting a former girlfriend at a hotel.
In an Instagram post, employees stated, “We are deeply saddened and disturbed by the recent video circulation of our former chairman, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“Even with his recent separation from Revolt, it is still our duty to address this matter, and recognize the direct impact it has on our staff, our audience, and the culture we represent.”
Diddy co-founded Revolt with Andy Schuon in 2013. Combs stepped away from it in November 2023 after sexual misconduct allegations against him first surfaced.
The company now says it “stands in solidarity” with all victims of domestic abuse.
The statement made no mention of the assaulted girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, by name. Her allegations against Combs first prompted him to step down last year as chairman of Revolt.

CNN has obtained a 2016 surveillance video which shows Sean “Diddy” Combs grabbing his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura by the back of the neck, throwing her down on the ground, and kicking her. The altercation matches allegations made by Ventura last year in her now-settled lawsuit against the music mogul.
The altercation took place on March 5, 2016, at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. The video shows Ventura leaving the hotel room and walking to the elevators. Moments later, Combs rushes out of the room dressed only in a towel and grabs Ventura by the back of the neck while she’s waiting for the elevator. He throws her to the ground, kicks her, and then picks up Ventura’s purse and suitcase before turning around to kick her again. Roughly grabbing her sweatshirt, Combs then starts to drag her down the hallway back towards the room before dropping her and leaving.

Cassandra Ventura’s short-lived rape and abuse lawsuit against her former long-term boyfriend Sean “Puffy” Combs was settled in November, but a 2016 surveillance video reveals just how horrific the rap mogul could be to the singer. In fact, despite constant denials of various accusations of abuse, Combs himself must know how damning the footage is because he allegedly bought it for $50,000 the day after the incident in Los Angeles.
In the graphic clip obtained exclusively by CNN (see it here), Combs is seen with a towel around his waist in a corridor of a Century City hotel. He grabs the back of Ventura’s hoodie and hurls her to the floor, then kicks and appears to drag her back toward their room. Later, she picks up a hotel phone, and Combs returns and appears to shove her. The clip also appears to show a then-seated Combs throwing an object in Ventura’s direction.

Kesha send a message to Sean “Diddy” Combs during a Coachella performance.
The singer was a surprise guest during Reneé Rapp’s Coachella set Sunday afternoon.
She hit the stage to perform her 2009 breakout hit, “Tik Tok.” But she changed the first line to: “Wake up in the morning like fuck P. Diddy.” In the video posted online, she also can be seen putting up her middle finger, as did Rapp and another musician in the band.
The original lyric to the song is: “Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy.” The rapper-turned-mogul also contributed to the song, saying “Hey, what’s up girl?” in response to that lyric. (The second line of the song is “Grab my glasses, I’m out the door, I’m gonna hit this city,” to which he replies, “Let’s go.”)

Update: In a strongly worded statement to the media, Diddy (aka Sean Combs) and his lawyer called the Homeland Security raids a “witchhunt.” Here’s a statement via his attourney Aaron Dyer:
“There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way. Two homes owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs were raided by the US Department of Homeland Security on Monday (March 25th) in connection to an ongoing federal sex trafficking investigation. Now, Combs’ lawyer is claiming that officials employed a “gross overuse of military-level force.”

The statement also claims that Combs “spoke to and cooperated with authorities,” and has not been arrested or otherwise restricted by law enforcement.
Dyer’s statement goes on to call the raid an “unprecedented ambush,” and the allegations against Combs in general as part of a “witch hunt.” He concludes by saying that Combs “will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs has publicly responded to multiple accusations of sexual assault from several women in the form of a statement typed in all caps.
The statement was posted as an image on Instagram and X:
“Enough Is Enough,” the rapper wrote. “For The Last Couple Of Weeks, I Have Sat Silently And Watched People Try To Assassinate My Character, Destroy My Reputation And My Legacy.”
Combs went on to say this: “Sickening Allegations Have Been Made Against Me By Individuals Looking For A Quick Payday. Let Me Be Absolutely Clear: I Did Not Do Any Of The Awful Things Being Alleged. I Will Fight For My Name, My Family And For The Truth.”
He then signed his name at the bottom: “Sean Diddy Combs.”
Nearly three weeks ago, Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, made sexual assault and physical abuse allegations against him, but the rapper settled the lawsuit privately within 48 hours of it being filed.

If it seems like the music industry is facing a moment of reckoning — this month, lawsuits were filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, music mogul L.A. Reid and ex-Grammys CEO Neil Portnow — it might be, but it’s likely that these cases are making headlines all at once because a New York law that suspends time constraints on claims involving alleged sex offenses is about to expire.
All three of those high-profile cases were filed under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which opened a one-year lookback period during which civil claims that would have otherwise been barred by the statute of limitations could be filed.
The window opened on Nov. 24, 2022 — E. Jean Carroll’s defamation suit against former President Donald Trump was amended almost immediately to include a sexual abuse claim — and it closes at midnight on Thursday.

Rapper Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, has become embroiled in a controversy after being subjected to criminal investigation by the New York Police Department over charges of sexual harassment levelled against him by an unknown person.
Diddy has also been charged with rape, kidnapping, human trafficking, drugs abuse, public indecency, among others, in one big lawsuit.
While no clear name has come out as to who filed the charges, it is suspected that his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura is the one behind this.
Law enforcement authorities told TMZ that the whole lawsuit is an open case at NYPD with the name ‘Sean Combs’.
While confirmed to be an active case, according to officials the case is “locked”. This means that the case is protected with extreme secrecy with very limited public access due to its sensitivity.

Another day, another Netflix original movie. The streaming giant just premiered Tyler Perry’s “A Fall From Grace” over the weekend, which IndieWire senior film critic Eric Kohn called “a trashy Hitchcock riff.” It’s one of about half-a-dozen Netflix original movies premiering in January, and merely a taste of what’s to come throughout 2020.
The studio has now released the first trailer for “Spenser Confidential,” an upcoming action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg and Winston Duke, directed by Peter Berg from a script by Sean O’Keefe. It is based on the best-selling novel “Wonderland” by Ace Atkins, and on the Spenser character created by Robert B. Parker. The late Robert Ulrich played the first on-screen version of the character in the “Spenser: For Hire” television series, broadcast on ABC from 1985 until 1988.
