- As head of Hal Roach Studios editing department from 1920-32, he was the credited editor of virtually all the company's releases during that period (Laurel & Hardy, "Our Gang", etc.). Currier claimed he was abruptly fired by Roach general manager Henry Ginsberg for refusing Ginsberg's demand that he spy on co-workers suspected of wasting studio money. He later worked for Paramount and Monogram before starting his own production company.
