- Charles Davis was born on August 31, 1925 in Dublin, Ireland. He was an actor and writer, known for Happy as the Grass Was Green (1973), Thunder Run (1985) and Get Outta Town (1960). He was married to Marilyn O'Connor. He died on December 12, 2009 in Thousand Oaks, California, USA.

- Arrived in the U.S. during the late '40s in order to play the colorful role of "Og", the Leprechaun, in the Broadway musical "Finian's Rainbow". He made over 1,000 appearances in the role, which included the national touring company. Davis and his actress/wife, Marilyn O'Connor, both headlined the original national touring company. In 2006 he acted (as Finian this time) and directed a Thousand Oaks production (Conejo Players) that included wife Marilyn, daughter Maripat Davis and grandson Patrick Gordon-Davis.
