- (1985 - 2005) He provided orchestral arrangements for 11 of Prince's albums, including the majority of the tracks from "Parade" (1986). During this period, he also arranged on three albums Prince produced for other artists.
- (1960) He was the musical arranger for Dizzy Gillespie's album, "A Portrait of Duke Ellington."
- (1957-1963, 1980) Between 1957 and 1961, he was the pianist for the jazz vocal group, "The Hi-Los," providing a number of vocal arrangements during that time, as well as all the instrumental arrangements for the album "This Time It's Love" (1962). In addition, he contributed two original compositions to "The Hi-Lo's and All That Jazz" (1959) and one to "The Hi-Lo's Happen to Bossa Nova" (1963), providing the corresponding vocal and instrumental arrangements for the former. In 1980, he provided both piano accompaniment and the instrumental arrangements for the reunion album, "The Hi-Lo's Now."
