- Nikos Foskolos, of Robert and Erifili, was a contemporary Greek writer, novelist, screenwriter and radio and theater critic, film and television director. He studied Political Science at the University of Athens, but without receiving a degree. He initially worked as a journalist, (in the 1950s-1960s), in the newspapers Embros and Independent Press doing freelance and artistic reporting and writing film reviews.
