The O'Briens seem to be hitting their breaking point.
They've got a lot of love between them, but that doesn't mean that life doesn't get the best of them on occasion.
On Chesapeake Shores Season 5 Episode 9, tensions find the family fracturing a bit, raising concerns about their welfare.
Mick is alive!
Hallmark played this one pretty close to the vest, and it's nice not to be spoiled before the story unfolds on screen.
Mick had to make a "necessary urgent landing," doing anything he could not to use the word emergency.
But the reality was much more severe than he realized until he saw the state of his plane.
Mick could have died easily. It was such a close call that he is reevaluating his life.
I wrote in my Chesapeake Shores Season 5 Episode 8 review that Mick's story could move in the direction where he realizes that life is short,...

If you're already adrift without another Hallmark Original Series to watch, you're not alone.
But we have good news today as Crown Media announced new original programming and some renewals we've been waiting for.
Most importantly, there are two renewals to announce that join When Calls the Heart for (fingers crossed) a 2021 release.
Good Witch will return for a seventh season, and Chesapeake Shores will return for a fifth season!
Hurrah!
As you know, Good Witch Season 6 just ended on quite the cliffhanger.
It was the first season in which Bailee Madison didn't appear as Grace, and in Rhys Matthew Bond only made guest appearances as Nick.
Without the younger cast, the adults got a lot more storylines, and love flourished.
Cassie (Catherine Bell) and Sam (James Denton) celebrated their one-year anniversary and began to grow under each other's influence.
The proved that there is always something left to learn about your partner.

Conceived as a tie-in to the re-branded Lego range of Star Wars playsets, Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles features two more totally brand-new and 100% original 22 minute specials – this time based on George Lucas’ god-awful prequels, namely episodes one and two, and the adventures of Anakin, Obi-Wan Yoda and Mace Windu as they take on the evil Darth Sidious, Count Dooku and General Grevious.
In Episode I: The Phantom Clone, the action-packed adventure begins when Darth Sidious unveils his plan to create a new super-weapon — an enhanced Sith clone named Jek-14 — to help him defeat the Republic once and for all. It’s up to Jedi Master Yoda and his young Padawan students to work together and save the galaxy.

I'm not thrilled about giving up Hayes' weekend show, Up, but I do love the idea of combining Hayes with Rachel Maddow. The combination of Hayes and Maddow as the majority of MSNBC's prime time slot could end up making a strong argument that it is possible for cable news to offer programming that's informative, instead of the ridiculous gimmicks, opinionated bluster and scandal-chasing that's found too often elsewhere.
One of the things I enjoy about Up with Chris Hayes is that Hayes uses the forum to function as an example of what other shows could accomplish if they cared, like the way Up is much more diverse than other Sunday shows.

Los Angeles quintet, Wires in the Walls, concoct jangly folk pop with joy and optimism that defies the times. Their true to form Diy approach must be their secret. The band's debut LP, "New Symmetry" dropped in October, with this nostalgic ditty "Ysa," featuring Warren Sroka on vocals/guitar, Nick Tracz on bass/vocals, Bryan King on drums/horns, Dave Irelan on guitar/vocals, and multi-instrumentalist Dave Sicher cementing their presence in west coast Americana.
"A few years back, Warren played me this song on the guitar in his living room and I thought it was excellent," director Brent Willis recalls. "For me it brought up all this really powerful nostalgic teenage imagery."
Now, years later when the band asked Willis to direct the video he didn't hesitate. But the director admits, "When I pitched the concept, the band was like, 'huh?' And yet, they trusted me enough to...

According to the good folks over at ComicBookMovie there are a few more characters for Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class that have been revealed.
Apparently Screen Terrier, who is in charge of casting the movie, held several screen tests over the weekend to cast actors for the following characters: Avalanche, Cyclops, Scalphunter, Angel, Prism and Ramrod.
Among the actors that auditioned we have: Jason Behr, Andrew Francis, Boyd Holbrook, Patrick J. Adams, Jonas Armstrong, Jamie Dornan and Tom Parker.
So does this mean that Aaron Johnson hasn't officially ben cast as Cyclops yet? If they are still looking to cast the role I guess not.
It was also confirmed by producer Bryan Signer recently that they actually really wanted Taylor Lautner to be in the movie! Fortunately for us his schedule wont allow him to do the movie. Singer said,
I wanted Taylor [Lautner] to do it, I really did.
