- Mickey Freeman was born on February 12, 1917 in New York City, New York, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for The Phil Silvers Show (1955), McHale's Navy (1962) and Keep in Step (1959). He died on September 21, 2010 in New York City, New York, USA.
- Wrote a book about The Phil Silvers Show with Sholom Rubinstein, 'Bilko: Behind the Lines With Phil SIlvers'. In it, Freeman told of certain anecdotes dealing with his co-stars, and also included an episode guide. Thus far, this is the only book dealing with the show.
- Attended the 2007 Twilight Zone Convention at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights, Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, August 4-5, 2007.
