Although "Game of Thrones" fans may have been disappointed by the way that the series concluded, excitement about the future of Westeros is still at its peak. HBO's prequel series "House of the Dragon" debuted to positive reviews and record-breaking viewership numbers, with HBO having already ordered a second season. Set approximately two centuries before the events of "Game of Thrones," "House of the Dragon" explores the interior battle that threatened to split House Targaryen apart. King Viserys I (Paddy Considine) has to deal with an unthinkable tragedy: his wife, Queen Aemma Arryn (Sian Brooke), dies in childbirth.
Tradition dictates for Viserys to name his brother, Daemon (Matt Smith), as his heir. However, Daemon's erratic behavior draws concern about his role as a leader. In a maverick move, Viserys decides to name his daughter, Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock), as his successor. She would be the first woman to ever sit on the Iron Throne.

Morgan Spector, who plays ruthlessly ambitious railroad magnate George Russell on HBO’s “The Gilded Age,” is of two minds when it comes to his character’s villainy. “I don’t see him as a villain. I see him as a really relatable human being who does things I think he’s sort of responding reasonably to, given the circumstances in which he lives on a moment to moment basis.” But Spector is quick to point out the capitalist failings of both George and the times he lived in. “I do think that the economic system that prevailed at that time was profoundly unjust, immoral, exploitative and brutal … that level of inequality is indefensible.”

Elizabeth Holmes and her father, Christian Holmes IV, have both worked for companies with alleged fraudulent dealings. Hulu's upcoming docuseries "The Dropout" is shining a light on Elizabeth's early life and the downfall of Theranos - a medical device company that made false claims that the technology could yield hundreds of blood test results from a minimal amount of a patient's blood. Among Elizabeth's earlier years, the docuseries depicts the moment in her teens when she discovered her father lost his job. In the docuseries, Elizabeth (Amanda Seyfried) comes home from school to find her dad (Michel Gill) at home watching the news of Enron's collapse. Her mother Noel (Elizabeth Marvel) informs Elizabeth and her younger brother Christian Holmes V (Jake Satow) that their father lost his job. "They lied to me about everything. The whole company was a fraud," Christian IV says.

Not all badass women are created equal. Some are downright scary in their mix of ambition, persuasive power and lack of empathy. Exhibit A: Elizabeth Holmes (Amanda Seyfried). The Stanford dropout and 2003 founder of the billion-dollar pharmaceutical Ponzi scheme Theranos, is a very bad badass. Based on the ABC News true-crime podcast, the miniseries executive produced and frequently directed by Michael Showalter (“The Eyes of Tammy Faye”) dives in to the making of a modern monster in a messy blond bun and a Steve Jobs black turtleneck.
The eight-episode format stretches out the Horatio Alger story that begins in a hurry, and gets perhaps the closest to what makes Holmes tick in the early days. A studious nerd behind thick glasses with a galumphing gait, this daughter of an emasculated Enron exec (Michel Gill) and a controlling mother (Elizabeth Marvel) strives and strives again to achieve her place among the...

Julia Garner’s Anna Delvey isn’t the only unique accent making its debut in a fictionalized adaptation of real-world con-artistry, as Hulu has unveiled a first look at Amanda Seyfried as Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in the upcoming limited series “The Dropout.”
The show, from executive producer and showrunner Elizabeth Meriwether (“New Girl”), tells the story of Holmes and Theranos, crafting an “unbelievable tale of ambition and fame gone terribly wrong.” The official synopsis asks, “How did the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire lose it all in the blink of an eye?”
Kate McKinnon was originally attached to star as Holmes, but ultimately bowed out. This is the first of a number of projects in the works about the Theranos founder, including a feature film starring Jennifer Lawrence to be directed by Adam McKay.

Cloning. Once upon a time a pipe-dream-made-reality with Dolly and though morally problematic, once in a while we get another movie about cloning humans. Spoiler alert: they never end well.

Enter Dr. Jameson (Michel Gill) who offers to clone Josie's husband in secret. And then Josie's husband Leo wakes up from the coma. Major drama that gets worse when it turns out that he and the baby have violent reactions to each other so they do what any loving parent would do: they dispose of the baby.

Sam Winslow is back to stay! Susan Sarandon will return to Showtime’s “Ray Donovan” as a series regular for Season 6, reprising her role as the powerful studio head — because you know Hollywood loves to see itself on screen.

Nothing is a coincidence or an accident in Mr. Robot, Sam Esmail's hacker psychothriller that wormed its way into last year's TV season like a particularly efficient computer virus. Visually stunning and meticulously plotted, the first season tapped into a rich vein of paranoia and disillusion running through the heart of late-stage capitalist society — in other words, it's not exactly your typical USA Network fare, a channel known for play-it-safe shows like Royal Pains and White Collar.

We did it last year, and we’re pretty happy to say that we were pretty much right on a good half of those predictions. And hey, when you have an award winning Netflix show on your hands, you really wouldn’t want the audience to know all that much just by looking at the trailer—right?
Well with current news surrounding Netflix’s confirmation of Suicide Squad’s Joel Kinnaman’s involvement with the show this season, we sure do have a lot to speculate. Kinnaman won’t be the only newcomer on the show however, as Neve Campbell (Party of 5, Scream) and Colm Feore (Thor, 24, The Poet) have also signed on to star in the already highly talked about season four of House of Cards.
And without further ado, let’s dissect some trailer!
For the most part, it’s Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) telling us about his campaign for 2016 president.

He's a writer working at a point where screenwriting continues to get scant regard in some quarters. Read reviews of a movie, and how often is the writer mentioned? As well, the film stars Sean Penn's daughter Dylan Penn. Michel Gill (Mr. Robot) and Lydia Hearst also star. The first frantic trailer for Condemned is here! The film's story hosts a plethora of depraved characters. Meth heads and criminals hide behind these walls. Their poor sanitation methods have created a toxin, which is now threatening to kill them. Now, this run down building is turning into a savage slaughterhouse. Rlj will release this title on Jan. 5th, 2016. Wow. I mean, just wow. We’ve already been as hooked on House of Cards as a test lab mouse is on Pepsi sugar. As if they just can’t toy with us enough, they show the final season of the award winning show right after Kevin Spacey’s Golden Globe win for the character we’ve come to love… and fear.
In an ill twist of fate, audiences would have to wait two whole weeks (Ok that’s a lie, it’s thirteen days, but no one noticed right?) for the season to be released; February 27th compared to last year’s ironic release on Valentine’s Day. As we have just learned how to cope with the denial of this being the series’ final season, we have enough from the commercial to sustain us these long four weeks.
Well that’s a flat out lie. We know nothing.
