Her company, Circle Content, offers production services to studios, networks, streamers, ad agencies and brands throughout the United States and abroad. As a child actor, Rosser today is considered an Actor's Director. She got her start on a Sci-Fi episodic NBC show (the most expensive at the time) produced by Steven Spielberg. From there Rosser quickly became adept at working with A-list talent early in her career as a DGA trained Assistant Director.
Born in Washington, D.C., Rosser grew up in the planned city of Columbia, Maryland. Built in the late 1960s, it was designed as a haven for interracial couples. Founder James Rouse desired to create an "open community," one that would be a new model to overcome racial and economic discrimination and segregation. Interestingly, many notable people lived there such as Oprah Winfrey and Millie Bailey or grew up there like Edward Norton, Alexis Ohanian, Suzanne Malveaux and Michele Kelemen.
In fact, Rosser is developing and pitching a limited docu-series about growing up there: Columbia, Maryland; The Bubble. Other upcoming projects at Circle Content include the 1 hour dramatic series Drag King and a narrative feature film written and to be directed by Rosser entitled TEX which is a road movie, buddy drama - essentially an LGBTQ+ Easy Rider. As well, Rosser is publishing a memoir.
Some of Rosser's accolades include: special invitation to Take the Lead's Inaugural Cohort; 50 Women Can Change Hollywood and Entertainment. Making Variety list as One in Five Focus Director. Her directorial debut, Holding Trevor garnered a U.S. theatrical release and critical acclaim. The Los Angeles Times described it as "suspenseful and involving." Variety wrote she "delivers a polished product." Later, Rosser's suspense thriller, [in]visible, won the Best Filmmaker Award in the Easter Seals Disability Challenge. For the HBO Insider Comedy Challenge Rosser wrote and directed PEA POD which landed The Top 5 Award. She was a finalist for the prestigious Television Directors' Program at ABC/Disney. And, her original screenplay Drag King won the Panasonic Filmmakers' Grant as well as advanced to the Second Round at the Sundance Labs. Perhaps, her greatest honor was receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Millennia Scope Entertainment Foundation which eradicates homophobia through all media.
As a Producer she has lead countless films, pilots, and commercials to completion. Prior clients include Disney, HBO, Lionsgate, Bad Robot, NBCU, MTV, Paramount, Showtime, Sony, and Warner Brothers as well as major brands like Samsung, PetSmart, Lifelock, Castrol, Toyota and The Proper Bunny.
