The White Lotus season three is being filmed in Thailand, and fans are anxious to know if any past stars will be making surprise appearances in the upcoming episodes.
Each season of the Mike White-created HBO hit takes place at a new White Lotus hotel location. Actors who have popped up in more than one season include Jennifer Coolidge, Jon Gries, and Natasha Rothwell (who will appear in season three after starring in the first season).

Now, Theo James, who starred as Cameron Sullivan opposite Meghann Fahy‘s Daphne Sullivan in season two, is responding to a rumor.
Back in January, Meghann teased to Deadline, “[Mike White] did once say that he’d like to do an episode with Theo, me and the couple from the first season, [Alexandra Daddario and Jake Lacy] — the four of us on a boat. Just one episode of that.

Well, this is a semi-dangerous decision. Yes, I’m starting with The Twilight Zone 80s. Niki, haven’t we been telling you to do Og Twilight Zone… why are you doing this? A couple of reasons, the first being that this has been on repeat for me the past 6 months or longer, with Tales from the Crypt never being too far behind it. The other being that I felt like it. You’re lucky I didn’t start with Night Gallery, or maybe that’s what you wanted. So let’s talk 80s Twilight Zone, or New Twilight Zone, or Twilight Zone reboot/revival, whatever you choose to call it.
The reason to give it another go was simple. Rod Serling, my personal hero, sold the rights to Twilight Zone after the show ended its run in 1964. The studio bought the rights even though they weren’t exactly ready to start it up again.

Best Drama Supporting Actress is the only Emmy acting category “The Morning Show” has yet to crack, but it’s now the one the series could dominate like only one other show has managed to. Nicole Beharie, Greta Lee, Julianna Margulies, Karen Pittman and Holland Taylor are all eligible for the Apple TV+ drama in the category this year, and if they all make the cut, “The Morning Show” will join “The White Lotus: Sicily” as the only shows to nab five drama supporting actress nominations in a single year.
“The White Lotus: Sicily” set the record last year with bids for Meghann Fahy, Sabrina Impacciatore, Aubrey Plaza, Simona Tabasco and eventual champ Jennifer Coolidge. Before that, the record for a series in the category was four nominees in one year, which only two shows had been able to field: “Game of Thrones” in 2019 and “The Handmaid’s Tale” in 2021.

Director Fred Dekker’s 1987 cult classic monster mash The Monster Squad (watch it Here) features variations of the classic Universal Monsters characters Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, The Wolf Man, The Mummy, and the Gillman, but it wasn’t actually a Universal production. So to avoid getting in trouble with Universal, the movie’s effects crew at the Stan Winston Studio had to create their own specific designs of the creatures… but that didn’t stop them from sneaking homages to the original monsters in there. It has been known for a while now that designers Steve Wang and Matt Rose hid the face of the original Creature from the Black Lagoon somewhere on the neck of their Gillman suit. Now – as pointed out by Monster Squad super-fan Shawn Robare of Plastic Rocket Pop – the exact location of that face has been found!

Tanya McQuoid lives on from beyond the waters of the Mediterranean, as Jennifer Coolidge has won the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series Emmy for her performance in “The White Lotus.”
This is her second win for “The White Lotus.” Coolidge won previously for her performance as the dazed and grieving Tanya in the HBO smash hit’s Season 1 back in summer 2022 when the television academy still considered Mike White’s vacation nightmare series a “limited or anthology series.” With rule changes, and another season interconnected to those past on the way, “The White Lotus” is now technically a drama series per an Emmys category shift in February 2023.
It’s hard to believe we are still talking about “The White Lotus” Season 2, which premiered in October 2022, but so goes the beloved show’s staying power. Season 2 found Tanya adrift (again) in Sicily, now married to BLM (not that BLM...

With a love of cinema woven into its DNA, The Monster Squad helped indoctrinate ’80s kids to the classic monsters. The generation that grew up watching it on home video and HBO look back on the 1987 film with the same reverence director Fred Dekker had for the Universal monster movies, and now they’re passing it down in a similar fashion. There’s no better way to introduce the next generation than with the new 4K edition.
Conceived as “The Little Rascals meets the Universal Monsters,” the cleverly-plotted film clocks in at a tight 82 minutes. The punchy script by Dekker and Shane Black doesn’t have an ounce of fat on it, save for the casual homophobia, misogyny, and body shaming of the time. Drawing inspiration from Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, human characters offer well-placed levity and a bevy of memorable one-liners, but the monsters are played straight.

Fans have been clamoring for more of The White Lotus ever since the widely-praised second season wrapped almost a year ago.
The White Lotus fanatics were dealt a blow last week when HBO indicated that the third season would not be on the air until 2025.
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, series creator Mike White is opening up about what fans can expect, and there are some surprises.
"It's going to be a supersized 'White Lotus,'" White dished.
"It's going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don't know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that's a good thing … I'm super excited about the content of the season."
It's hard to tell how much longer The White Lotus Season 3 will be, but with more episodes, there's a good chance we'll be meeting more characters than before.

The White Lotus was one of the most surprising success stories when it launched on HBO in 2021.
Who knew delivering a season-long mystery as some of the richest people vacation would make such great TV?
Below, we've rounded up everything we know about The White Lotus Season 3.
The White Lotus Season 3 Renewal Status
HBO picked up The White Lotus Season 3 in November as the sophomore run was airing.
"Reflecting on The White Lotus' humble, run-and-gun origin as a contained pandemic production, it's impossible not to be awestruck by how Mike orchestrated one of the buzziest and most critically acclaimed shows, said Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming, Head of HBO Drama Series and Films said of the pickup.
"And yet, he's only continued to reach new heights in season 2, which is the ultimate testament to Mike's raw, unparalleled vision.

Since their initial awards run in 2022, the team behind HBO’s “The White Lotus” have stuck to the rare principle that their series has no lead actors and that its performers should all be treated as ensemble members. Simply watching the show proves the reasonability of this classification tactic, which is bolstered by the mathematical fact that no actor has yet appeared in more than 20% of either season. Still, some of the supporting players have been given more attention than others, resulting in several interesting screen time discrepancies. Scroll through our photo gallery to see how the Season 2 cast stacks up in terms of screen time.

One year after becoming the first program in Emmys history to simultaneously net five nominations in a single female acting category, “The White Lotus” has managed to repeat the impressive feat. The only performer involved in both situations is Jennifer Coolidge, who bested her four first season cast mates in the 2022 Best TV Movie/Limited Series Supporting Actress race and is now heavily favored to do the same in the Best Drama Supporting Actress category. Having already bagged Critics Choice, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Awards for her second season performance, there isn’t much stopping her from once again being called up to the Emmys stage.

In Jennifer Coolidge’s Variety Actors on Actors conversation with Jeremy Allen White, she proposes that Tanya return to “The White Lotus” as a seagull, so she can poke out the eyes of her evil husband Greg (Jon Gries). Haley Lu Richardson, who played Tanya’s assistant, Portia, weighs in on killing off Greg during this week’s “Just for Variety” podcast.
“Jon and I worked together in the first movie I ever did — when I was 17 — called ‘The Last Survivors,’” she recalls, adding, “I was the hero and he was the villain. I killed him at the end of the movie with a samurai sword.”
She says she’d like to re-create that moment in Season 3 of “The White Lotus,” which takes place in Thailand. “Portia is somewhere in Asia with a samurai sword and kills Greg,” she says, laughing.

If you thought The White Lotus Season 2 marked the end of Tanya McQuoid's time on the HBO hit, we have news for you.
Series creator Mike White has opened up about the possibility of Jennifer Coolidge reprising her award-winning role in a prequel to the beloved anthology series.
"I absolutely think that's possible," White admitted during a press conference at the Vivid Sydney Festival on Saturday, Deadline reports.
"We were just talking about that. It's a funny idea," he added, before saying he wasn't opposed to using de-aging technology if the series went deep into Tanya's past.
That would allow Coolidge to remain on the show instead of casting someone new.
"That would be fun too," White said before revealing that he thinks Jennifer would be interested.
"I think Jennifer's like, 'Sure, let's do it!'"
Coolidge was present at the event and shared that she would be interested and that "Australia gets my vote.

Don’t despair, The White Lotus fans — we may not have seen the last of Jennifer Coolidge’s unlucky-in-love Tanya McQuoid. In the HBO hit’s second-season finale, Tanya turns the tables on the goons her husband Greg (Jon Gries) hired to kill her, offing the men in a shooting spree aboard their yacht. In her escape from the vessel, however, Tanya slips, hits her head, and drowns in the seas off Sicily. But at a press conference for the show in Australia on Saturday, June 10, The White Lotus creator Mike White teased the prospect of a prequel series centering on Tanya. HBO “I absolutely think that’s possible,” he told reporters, per Deadline. “We were just talking about that. It’s a funny idea. And making Jennifer, you know, 20 years younger, that would be fun too. I think Jennifer’s like, ‘Sure, let’s do it!” White previously mused...

The Golden Globe-winning actress, 61, discussed her desires for the third season of the acclaimed series and the potential for Tanya’s future in a conversation with fellow actor Jeremy Allan White for Variety‘s ‘Actors on Actors’ series.
“My hope for Jon is that he’s not finished with Greg,” Coolidge said of Jon Gries who plays Tanya’s husband Greg, who attempted to orchestrate Tanya’s death in Italy. “I hope there’s some comeuppance for evil Greg. I think he should, I don’t know, end up in a meat-grinding machine.”

So far, only Jennifer Coolidge and Jon Gries have starred in multiple seasons of The White Lotus — playing socialite Tanya and manipulative husband Greg, respectively. But creator Mike White intends to show more connections to past seasons as the HBO series continues — maybe another Greg appearance, and maybe even an all-star season of the show. “It would be easy to just be full-on anthology, but I think it’s more fun to have little threads through the show,” White tells The Hollywood Reporter. “If the show goes on for a couple of seasons, it would be fun to have an all-star season.” Emma McIntyre/Getty Images Another link between the Maui-set first season and the Sicily-set second was the season-long mystery of which character would end up dead. (Season 1 started with the human remains leaving Hawaii via airliner cargo hold; Season 2 kicked off with the discovery of a corpse in the ocean.

Jennifer Coolidge’s open disdain for boating did nothing to dissuade The White Lotus creator Mike White from subjecting the actress to three days of queasy and often claustrophobic filming on a yacht anchored off the Sicilian coast. Her discomfort was his inspiration.
“She had such a bad time filming on the boat in the first season that I just imagined telling her, ‘Yeah, now your character is going to die on a boat,’ ” says White. “Maybe I’m sadistic or something, but I knew Jennifer’s reaction was going to make me laugh so hard.”
Typically, any mention of a hit drama eighty-sixing its star would be prefaced by a boldface “spoiler alert,” but even the most fleeting frames of the HBO series’ second season — say, for example, the chaotic wardrobe choices for Haley Lu Richardson’s Portia — became unavoidable pop culture events. Haley Lu Richardson was a fan of the first season of “The White Lotus” on HBO, but she had no idea what the future would have in store for her just a year later. Chloe Fineman is being roasted online for her “cringe” interview with Stella McCartney, Aubrey Plaza and Madelyn Cline during Monday night’s Met Gala red carpet.
While many naysayers were already scolding Fineman for being a “horrible” interviewer, things got worse when she misnamed Plaza, calling her “Audrey” instead of “Aubrey.” Moments later, McCartney, who attended the stylish event with Plaza and Cline, slammed the “Saturday Night Live” star for not taking the interview “seriously.”
“I’ll be more serious,” Fineman replied with a laugh before carrying on with the awkward interview. While some defended the comedian on Twitter, noting that the “Audrey” name change was a bit, others were unamused, including McCartney, who’s facial expressions appeared to be quite telling.

Here’s a not-so-fun fact that will ruin your day: “Better Call Saul” has never won an Emmy. The critically lauded spin-off of “Breaking Bad” has been nominated 46 times through five and a half seasons and never once walked away a winner. With its final six episodes eligible this year, the AMC series co-created by Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan has one last chance to alter this aspect of its otherwise unblemished legacy. History tells us it’s a long shot at best — voters have proven time and again they simply don’t care about the show, which tells the tragic story of how Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) became slippery lawyer Saul Goodman — but “Better Call Saul” also has a secret weapon it never had before: former Best Drama Actor Emmy winner Bryan Cranston.

With all due respect to the vampire western Near Dark and the coolness of The Lost Boys, my favorite ’80s vampire flick is pretty easily Fright Night (watch it Here). It has a way about it that is just unmatched. It’s able to mix the ’80s setting, think Jerry in the club hypnotizing Amy, with both a modern and classic feel. Its almost the evolutionary step of what Hammer films would have turned into had they not folded. Its certainly beloved enough with it’s own documentary and a sequel, remake, and sequel to that remake. That’s what I wanted to talk about today. The Gold Derby predictions center event for the 2023 Emmy Awards has now added the Drama Guest Actor category. Last year, “Succession” dominated this category with four of the six slots for guests Adrien Brody, James Cromwell, Arian Moayed, and Alexander Skarsgård. As of this writing, we anticipate both Cromwell and Moayed will be guest eligible — Moayed has already appeared in one Season 4 episode so far — while Skarsgård may appear in enough episodes to be deemed supporting. As of this writing, all of Gold Derby’s Experts (our savvy pundits from major media outlets) and Editors (our staffers who write about awards year-round) are in agreement that Jennifer Coolidge (“The White Lotus: Sicily”) will win at the 2023 Emmys in Best Drama Supporting Actress. This would be her second consecutive Emmy Award for playing fan-favorite socialite Tanya McQuoid on the HBO show. However, her trophies would be in different categories, as “The White Lotus” is making a Tanya-esque leap this year (just use the ladder!) from a limited series to a drama series.
Amazingly enough, there is recent precedent for this exact scenario at the Emmys. Maggie Smith (“Downton Abbey”) won in the same supporting actress categories for playing Violet Crawley both before and after her PBS show swapped genres.

The show is based on Rob Feldman’s Ringo Award-nominated comic book, published by Rocketship Entertainment, of the same name. It follows the titular Cyko Ko, a “fourth-wall breakin’, pinball-addicted, cereal eatin’, motorcycle-ridin’ hero” in a campy Saturday morning cartoon–like world.
The series will follow him, sidekick Peachy Keen and their pet Meemop, as he protects the colonies of SuperEarth from giant monsters and crazy characters “in this Saturday morning cartoon-inspired, all-ages title.” Duff will voice waitress Dolphina.
With Duff signed on, the main cast of the web series is now rounded out.
Duff played ‘mean girl’ Summer in 2004 high-school comedy Napoleon Dynamite, and also starred in Seventh heaven.

The Sycamore District is one of L.A.’s chicest and buzziest mini-neighborhoods, known for its hot restaurants (Gigi’s, Mr. T), bakeries and cafés (Tartine, Sightglass), art galleries (Jeffrey Deitch), and beauty, fitness and wellness spots (Pause, Formula Fig and Heimat).
Now the area has caught the attention of Italian luxury powerhouse Giorgio Armani, which has opened a pop-up in Just One Eye, an independent fashion and design boutique located on Sycamore Avenue.
The shop-within-shop — titled Giorgio Armani for Just One Eye and running through Saturday, March 11 — features a selection of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories from the Spring-Summer 2023 collection, curated by Just One Eye founder Paola Russo. This new Giorgio Armani collection focuses on a long silhouette and is highlighted by jackets, skirts, trousers and duster coats fashioned to feel as weightless as possible, in colors from golden neutrals to ink blue purple and sand.

“The White Lotus: Sicily” is making the jump from limited series to drama series at the 2023 Emmys, due to a quirky TV Academy rule about recurring characters (Jennifer Coolidge and Jon Gries triggered the switch as they appeared in both cycles). So what does all of this mean for the red-hot HBO show?
Keep in mind that last year, “The White Lotus” received 20 nominations and won a whopping 10 of them, including three for showrunner Mike White, plus acting prizes for Coolidge and Murray Bartlett. With the genre category shift to drama, “Sicily” now follows the same trajectories as programs like “Big Little Lies,” “Downton Abbey” and “The Sinner,” all of which competed in limited series for their first season, and in the case of the former two, dominating their major respective categories with multiple wins.

Unforgotten creator Chris Lang has made a request to fans of the ITV drama.
The series returned for a fifth run earlier this week for its first series without former star Nicola Walker.
Sanjeev Bhaskar returns as Di Sunny Khan in the episodes alongside new cast addition Sinead Keenan, who plays Dci Jess James.
Unlike other British dramas, including BBC series Happy Valley, the entirety of the new series has been made available to view on its channel’s dedicated viewing platform.
However, while Lang isn’t exactly requesting people to swerve watching all episodes at once, he has stepped in to ask that these viewers keep the show’s surprises a secret from those who want to wait.
“Thx so much for all your lovely comments about #Unforgotten !” he wrote on Twitter on Wednesday (1 March).
He added: “Lots of you bingeing, so can I politely ask you don’t...
