Anne trained at RADA in the 1980s and after seasons at Cheltenham and Coventry, joined the RSC at Stratford in the famous Peter Hall and Trevor Nunn period. Her chief role being Mistress Quickly in "Henry V". She married there, had two children and left the theatre. She returned and appeared in "Exchange" at the Vaudeville Theatre and in a prestigious production of "Don Carlos" at the Lyric, Hammersmith.
