Essentially a selection of short films intertwined with a wraparound to add a frame of reference, a la Zombieworld and All Hallows Eve 2, Charlotte is a series a vignettes of vary lengths and quality, a number of which come from director Patrick Rea, whose shorts also appear in the recently-reviewed anthology Monster X. Given that the shorts were not made specifically for an anthology, there are...

Director James Gunn posted a photo of some custom made Guardians of the Galaxy action figures that actor Seth Green made for him. I wish there was a more detailed shot of these, but from what I can see they are pretty awesome. As most of you know, Green is one of the creators of Robot Chicken, so he has a talent for doing stuff like this. Here’s what Gunn had to say about them:
Wow, I have the greatest friends ever. Last night at our annual Christmas get together Seth Green gave me a custom box of Ravagers he made himself! He noticed the world was sadly lacking Ravagers figures and had to step up. I'm blown away. Three of the four Ravagers were with us - Nick Holmes (Horuz's Mate), Dave Yarovesky (Goth Ravager), and Sean Gunn (Kraglin). Sadly, Michael Rooker (Yondu) wasn't there (but is fortunately...

Ever hear the expression "There just aren't enough hours in the day"? That certainly held true for the creators of Dollface, which was put together in just 51 hours. And incidentally, it's a damn good short.
It only has a seven-minute run time, but Dollface manages to be creepy, loaded with tension and a little scary in parts. An amazing accomplishment for a film created in just over two days. It was originally made for the Producers Guild Debra Hill Short Film Contest.
Dollface was written by John Sylvan and directed by Colin Campbell. It stars Kimberly Atkinson, Jen Dede, Nick Holmes, Roma Maffia and Shelly Wenk. Check it out below.

Actress Virginia Madsen has found love with an actor 20 years her junior.
The Sideways star, who celebrated her 50th birthday on Sunday, has been dating Nick Holmes "for a while", but she insists she is taking the romance in her stride.
She tells People.com, "I'm not counting (how long we've been dating) on purpose. I just want to concentrate on right now."
Madsen reveals their relationship initially started out as friends, but she quickly fell in love with the 30 year old, who she claims is "an extraordinary poet".
And Holmes, who has appeared on U.S. TV comedy Parks and Recreation, is equally full of praise for Madsen: "She's an exquisite talent and a timeless beauty. And an extraordinary amount of fun."
Madsen was previously married to Danny Huston and has a 17-year-old son, Jack, with ex-boyfriend, actor Antonio Sabato, Jr.

Virgina Madsen sat front row the Elie Tahari show in N.Y.C. Wednesday with a debut of her own: her "lover" (Madsen's word, not ours), actor Nick Holmes. The actress, who turned 50 on Sunday, and Holmes, 30, have been dating "for a while," Madsen tells People. "I'm not counting on purpose. I just want to concentrate on right now." That meant hitting up Mercendes-Benz fashion week while the L.A. couple visited Manhattan. "It's glamorous to arrive in New York and go to a fashion show," says the Sideways star, who said she'd "given up dating entirely" a few years back.
