Terrifier cast member Michael Leavy has directed a new horror film called Stream – and not only has he brought Terrifier and Terrifier 2 director Damien Leone on board to handle the special effects, but he also packed the cast with genre icons. Here’s a sample of the Stream cast list: Tony Todd (the original Candyman himself), Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator), Danielle Harris (Halloween 4), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Dee Wallace (The Howling), Mark Holton (Leprechaun), Daniel Roebuck (Final Destination), Dave Sheridan (The Devil’s Rejects), Terry Alexander (Day of the Dead), David Howard Thornton (Terrifier), Tim Reid (Stephen King’s It), Charles Edwin Powell (Exorcist III), Bob Adrian (The Conjuring 2), Sydney Malakeh (Cheer Camp Killer), Wesley Holloway (Terrifier 2), and Linden Porco (Leprechaun Returns). We’ll get to see them share the screen when Iconic Events Releasing gives the film a theatrical release in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico on August 21st.

Top of the mornin’ to you on this St. Patrick’s Day! To celebrate, we here at Arrow in the Head decided to mark the occasion by going back over the Leprechaun movies and ranking them from worst to first. The Leprechaun Movies Ranked list can be seen below – check it out and let us know how you would rank the movies!
Leprechaun: Origins (2014)
This is appalling. Director Zach Lipovsky, writer Harris Wilkinson, and WWE Studios were given the chance to make a new Leprechaun movie, they cast a professional wrestler (Dylan “Hornswoggle” Postl) as the title character, and then they just churned out a dull monster movie. I don’t know how anyone involved thought this was a good idea (“You know what we should do? Take everything people liked about Leprechaun and remove it!”) or how Leprechaun: Origins made it through production. The story follows Americans backpacking through...

The erratic Leprechaun franchise is not known for sticking with a single concept for too long. The namesake (originally played by Warwick Davis) has gone to L.A., Las Vegas, space, and the ‘hood (not once but twice). And after an eleven-year holiday since the Davis era ended, the character received a drastic makeover in a now-unmentionable reboot. The critical failure of said film would have implied it was time to pack away the green top hat and shillelagh, and say goodbye to the nefarious imp. Instead, the Leprechaun series tried its luck again.
The general consensus for the Leprechaun films was never positive, and the darker yet blander Leprechaun: Origins certainly did not sway opinions. Just because the 2014 installment took itself seriously did not mean viewers would. After all, creator Mark Jones conceived a gruesome horror-comedy back in the early nineties, and that format is what was expected of any future ventures.

"Tonight we are running a game! Our game, I admit, is a rather unusual one... But I can assure you that it will be far more entertaining than anyhing you have ever been a part of." That sounds like a line from the new Hunger Games movie! Ha. An early teaser trailer is out for a new horror thriller film titled Stream, from actor / filmmaker Michael Leavy. Described as "a modern take on traditional slasher films" – from the same team that brought you Terrifier 2, featuring special effects from Damien Leone. With multiple killers competing in a sadistic game, this film has boundless creativity and an endless future." The huge ensemble cast includes Tony Todd, Jeffrey Combs, Danielle Harris, Tim Reid, Dee Wallace,...

The late, great Paul Reubens was an artist of incredible duality, a quality embodied by his most famous character, Pee-wee Herman. With his neatly-cropped hair, snazzy red bow tie, and stylin' grey suit and pants, Pee-wee looked like a member of The Little Rascals who had inexplicably grown up overnight. He wasn't all childish innocence and mischief, though. More than a bratty streak, there was something undeniably twisted about Pee-wee, even if, as a kid, I could never quite place my finger on what it was. I just knew that I liked it.
Reubens' brilliance in the art of dark absurdism made him a perfect match for Tim Burton, another artist who appealed to my off-kilter sensibilities before I was old enough to understand why. The pair would join forces multiple times over the course of Reubens' career, beginning with Burton's feature directing debut, "Pee-wee's Big Adventure," in 1985. Looking back now,...

“I know you are, but what am I?” With those words, Paul Reubens’ Pee-wee Herman became one of the biggest pop culture sensations of the 1980s, spawning several TV series, toys, movies, and so much more before controversy spelled the temporary end of the character. After a stage show and HBO special, Pee-wee Herman broke into the mainstream with the now classic 1985 film, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure. The feature directorial debut of Tim Burton, the film put the young director on the map, allowing him to go on to make Beetlejuice and 1989’s Batman, plus it also established Oingo Boingo frontman Danny Elfman as one of the most talented young composers in Hollywood.

Thanks to the creepy mask Wal-Mart removed from its stores, coulrophobia — the fear of clowns — is in vogue this Halloween. What was once a symbol of silly circus fun has been turned into one of the most ubiquitous images in horror. So if you’re in the mood for a circus from hell, there’s plenty of evil clowns to choose from. Some are funny. Others are horrifying. Either way, they’re perfect for Halloween.
Pennywise, “It”: We have to start with the most famous evil clown ever. For some, Tim Curry’s portrayal of a killer clown that only kids from Maine can see is the height of creepiness. For others, Curry’s “Rocky Horror” levels of camp make Pennywise more amusing than frightening. In both instances, Tim Curry commands attention.

“You’ll be sorry Pee Wee Herman!” Gosh, do you think Mark Holton’s words in the movie were a little prophetic when it came to real life? After all Paul Reubens was pretty sorry after getting busted in a certain theater at one point. Following the current trend with long running franchises that choose to ignore the previous sequels, Leprechaun Returns follows on from the original 25 years later. A decision which works brilliantly for the film giving it the freedom to not only follow on from the original story but also allowing it to reboot the series.
Leprechaun Returns is brilliantly balanced as it acknowledges the original film, Leprechaun (1993), throughout, whilst also trying to evolve the story. This enables it to appeal to both fans of the original series, whilst also making it accessible to a new audience. Mark Holton is the only returning actor from the original film as he reprises his role of Ozzie (Linden Porco having taken over the pivotal role of the leprechaun from Warwick Davis) and is used initially as a nostalgic connection between the two films. Anything – and I mean *anything* – Steven Kostanski’s Leprechaun Returns trotted out as a Celtic franchise continuation was going to outshine 2014’s Leprechaun Origins. You could have forced Warwick Davis’ successor Linden Porco to recite ninety minutes of Lucky Charms product placement and it’d have been an improvement. Thankfully, there’s more to this revival than “hearts, stars, and horseshoes” limericks. How *much* more will depend on your B-grade mileage, given kills and rhyming zingers are at a premium instead of collective packaging. It’s the practical showcase you’d expect from effects guru Kostanski (The Void/Astron-6 productions), hoping to distract from a goopy cauldron of body parts and shallow cinematic depth.

With only a few days to go until Leprechaun Returns brings the little Irish killer back to our screens, a new round of official images has just been released that puts the spotlight on Linden Porco.
The Channel Zero actor will be the first to inhabit the role of the murderous Leprechaun since Dylan “Hornswoggle” Postl played the part in 2014’s Leprechaun: Origins. But the performance that viewers will really be measuring Porco against will be the take offered by Warwick Davis for the franchise’s first six installments.
Earlier this month, Davis explained that fatherhood made him reluctant to come back to the horror property, teasing that he’ll do some more work in the genre once his son turns 18. Though the Leprechaun movies have never earned the favor of the critics, this decades-spanning horror-comedy franchise has still amassed an impressive following over the years, and it’s clear that the mischievous screen presence of Warwick Davis has a fair amount to do with it. With that in mind, perhaps there’s something a little misleading about the title of the upcoming Leprechaun Returns, in that Davis is no longer the psychotic star under all that makeup.
Speaking to Bang Showbiz, the actor reflected on his six-movie run in the series, and explained why fatherhood encouraged him to take a break from horror.
“You know what, we did six ‘Leprechaun’ films, and around Halloween people always watch them and love them,” Davis told the site. “Horror is an interesting medium. I think it’s different when you have kids; you look at horror in a slightly different way. Since I...

With Leprechaun Returns just a couple of weeks away from release, Lionsgate has shared a new set of stills from the horror-comedy sequel that give us another taste of the carnage coming our way.
The first installment in the horror-comedy series since 2014’s widely rejected Leprechaun: Origins, the Steven Kostanski-helmed film sees the familiar killer heading for Alpha Upsilon house, and in this latest batch of images, we’re given a couple more glimpses at the students charged with suffering through this frightful night. We also get another look at the makeup job done on the Leprechaun’s latest rendition, but the most notable photo in this set is almost certainly the pic in which Linden Porco’s character appears to be bursting out of a victim’s torso Alien-style.

We also get another look at the makeup job done on the Leprechaun’s latest rendition, but the most notable photo in this set is almost certainly the pic in which Linden Porco’s character appears to be bursting out of a victim’s torso Alien-style.

"I've got a lot of killin' to make up for...!" Syfy has released an official trailer for the upcoming horror sequel Leprechaun Returns, being release straight-to-vod in December. Remarkably, the Leprechaun series is currently on its eighth film. The most recent two were Leprechaun: Origins in 2014 (did anyone see this?) and Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood, of course, back in 2003. This new one even includes an old character from the original 1993 film, Mark Holton. And unfortunately Warwick Davis is not back this time, instead Linden Porco plays the super creepy Leprechaun. He returns once again, when a group of girls unwillingly awaken him, while they tear down a cabin so that they can build a new sorority house. The full cast includes Taylor Spreitler, Sai Bennett, Pepi Sonuga, Ben McGregor, and Emily Reid. This seriously looks crazy messed up and seriously twisted, not to mention packed with a bunch of bad one-liners.

Leprechaun Returns is the eighth movie in the Leprechaun horror movie franchise. We’ve got a new trailer for the movie for you to watch that sees the return of the villainous and twisted Leprechaun as he terrorizes a group of sorority girls.
This is one of those silly horror franchises that I’ve enjoyed watching and it all started in 1993 with Jennifer Aniston, who was just starting her acting career. It also starred Warwick Davis as the Leprechaun.
I know this new film won’t have the same effect on fans as the original did, but it still looks like ridiculous fun. Here’s the synopsis:
The film picks up 25 years after the events of the 1993 original, which found a maniacal Leprechaun doing whatever it takes (including committing gruesome murder) to track down his stolen pot of gold. Leprechaun Returns finds the leprechaun revived in the modern day when...

"Why do you look so sore? Audiences love lots of gore." After giving horror fans plenty of nightmare fuel from his performance in Channel Zero: Butcher's Block, Linden Porco returns to deliver more scares (this time accompanied with witty one-liners) as the titular character in Leprechaun Returns. Ahead of the film's December 11th release on Digital and On Demand from Lionsgate, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled the movie's first trailer and new key art that just might "shamrock your world."
From the Press Release: "Be careful what you wish for when Leprechaun Returns arrives on Digital and On Demand December 11 from Lionsgate. The devious and deadly wisecracking Leprechaun that we all know (and love to hate) returns to reclaim his pot of gold from a sorority house property…all while gleefully going on a Leprechaun-style killing spree. At the start of this month, we received the first poster for the upcoming Leprechaun Returns, in which the title killer is seen emerging from a wishing well. Now, with this next image, we get a look at the unfortunate residence where this depraved creature is headed.
The first instalment in the horror-comedy series since 2014’s widely rejected Leprechaun: Origins, this Steven Kostanski-helmed film will be taking the carnage to Alpha Upsilon house, where the sorority sisters thought it would be a good idea to use a nearby well as an environmentally friendly source of water. In the process of going green, however, they unwittingly awaken the Irish monster, who starts with the killing once more.
It sounds like a rather old-school horror setup, but with a new face in the main role. Stepping into the well-shined shoes once filled by Warwick Davis will be Linden Porco, who explained...

After Leprechaun: Origins fell flat with fans, the popular and surprisingly durable little murderer now takes another swing at a franchise reboot with Leprechaun Returns.
“Be Careful What You Wish For,” reads the poster tagline for what’s set to be the eighth installment in this horror comedy series, as the malevolent star of the property looks ready to crawl out of that wishing well to cause more chaos. What’s more, this new synopsis suggests that the carnage will be unfolding in that most classic of slasher movie settings, a sorority house:
The deadly, wisecracking Leprechaun is back in all his gory glory. When the sorority sisters of the Alpha Upsilon house decide to go green and use an old well as their water source, they unwittingly awaken a pint-sized, green-clad monster. The Leprechaun wants a pot of gold buried near the sorority house, but first, he must recover...

Ok, so the WWE Studios reboot of the Leprechaun franchise might not have set the world on fire but it Did bring the character back from the brink of Dtv obscurity; and it’s lead to this:

Yes, there’s a new “Leprechaun” movie, and yes, you’ll probably watch it if you’re ever channel surfing and see that it’s on. Syfy is reviving the tongue-in-cheek horror franchise with “Leprechaun Returns,” the eighth movie in the series and the first since’s 2014’s “Leprechaun: Origins.” That reboot was preceded by such revered entries as “Leprechaun 4: In Space” and “Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood,” which is to say that “Returns” has a lot to live up to. Watch the teaser trailer below.
“I’ve been gone quite a while, what a terrible bore,” the Leprechaun says as it begins. “My fingers are itching, I’m killing for more; why, let’s try our luck and bet on me gold. “If it lands on tails, I’ll do as me told; but heads? I’ll start a new killing spree.”
“What a lovely surprise,” he says as it lands on heads.

After channeling body-morphing cosmic horrors in The Void, co-director Steven Kostanski is stepping into established franchise territory for his next project: a new Leprechaun sequel from Syfy.
Announced by Syfy in a new teaser video featuring Linden Porco as the Leprechaun (a role played by Warwick Davis in the first six films in the horror franchise, with Dylan "Hornswoggle" Postl playing the role in the most recent entry, Leprechaun: Origins), the new Leprechaun sequel is titled Leprechaun Returns and will premiere on Syfy in March of 2019.
According to Syfy, the new movie will bring back the murderous Leprechaun 25 years after the events of the first film in the franchise, with sorority sisters—played by Taylor Spreitler (Kevin Can Wait), Pepi Sonuga (Ash vs Evil Dead), and Sai Bennett (Lake Placid: Legacy)—inadvertently resurrecting the titular terror after demolishing a cabin to make way for a new sorority headquarters.

In Conor McMahon’s Stitches, acclaimed British comedian Ross Noble plays Stitches Grindle, a hard-drinking mess of a clown whose destructive ways catch up with him at young Tom’s birthday party – leading to his accidental, violent death.
Six years later, Stitches returns from the dead to take revenge on the brats who put him six feet under… turning the tables on them as only a clown can.
In honor of Stitches hitting Blu-ray and DVD this Tuesday, April 2nd, we’ve decided to take a look back at cinema’s killer clowns through the years, and picked out a handful of our absolute favorites:
6) The Trio, Clownhouse (1989)
A trio of mental patients murder circus clowns, taking their guises to torment a young boy and his brothers (one played by a young Sam Rockwell) during a long night alone in their family home. A genuinely unsettling tale that delves deep...

Being that it is St. Patrick's day today, you will see many people sporting the color green and participating in other various activities associated with today but you may not feel like going out, that's ok because you can stay home and have your own fun and you can start your fun off right by watching an awesome movie like Leprechaun...

We don’t usually cover the Broadway beat here at TheFABLife, but for Pee-Wee Herman, we will make an exception. In case you hadn’t heard, Pee Wee (played by Paul Reubens) is bringing his legendary Pee-Wee Herman Show stage show to the Great White Way for a few months so that those of us who grew up on Pee-Wee’s Playhouse can relive our childhood. Mecca lecca hi, mecca heiny ho indeed. It’s safe to say Pee-Wee is one of the biggest influences in our young life and we can quote approximately 99% of Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure verbatim. (By the way, you do know that actor Mark Holton, a.k.a. bike thief Francis Buxton went on to play John Wayne Gacy, right? Scariest poster ever? Yes, yes it is.) So, we personally can’t wait to see the Broadway show, but apparently neither could a lot of celebrities.

Judd Apatow is developing a new Pee-wee movie with Paul Ruebens (obvi). Reports Variety: “Let’s face it, the world needs more Pee-wee Herman,” Apatow told Daily Variety. “I am so excited to be working with Paul Reubens — who is an extraordinary and ground-breaking actor and writer. It’s so great to watch him return with such relevance.” I will face it. We do need more Pee-wee. I completely agree. But so help me God, if you screw up one of my favorite childhood franchises, Apatow, I will find you. Let’s say you’re at a bar. I’ll walk in and sit down next to you. You’ll probably be talking to Seth Rogen. I’ll sit next to Rogen. And then I’ll have a drink, probably a whiskey ginger, and pretend not to know you and say nothing. But Trust That On The Inside I Will Be Raging.
