ABC has given a script commitment with penalty to the single-camera comedy “Family Style,” from executive producer Amy Poehler. Described as a multi-generational comedy about two men from different cultures who find love in a family-run restaurant in Miami, “Family Style” comes from writer Claudia Lonow, whose recent TV credits include “Crowded,” “How to Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)” and “Friends With Benefits.” Lonow will also serve as executive producer on the series from Universal Television, alongside Poehler and Brooke Posch of Paper Kite Productions and Dave Becky and Scott King of 3 Arts.
