Suffered a stroke in 1977, which almost stopped him from voicing Rabbit in
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977)
, but he managed to recover in time to do it.
Other than providing the voice of Rabbit for Winnie the Pooh movies, he also used his voice for a radio version of Pooh before the movies came out.
