- Film and TV director, in the US from 1967. He was a former student of the University of Toronto and had acted and directed with the Straw Hat Players, the Ottawa Repertory Theatre, the Vineland Theatre in the Niagara Falls area and the Crest Theatre in Toronto. He subsequently worked for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
- Worked as an actor and director at Canada's Stratford Festival from 1957-62.
- Replaced Daryl Duke as director partway through production of Shadow of the Hawk (1976).
