- CeCe Moore, investigative genetic genealogist, is best known for her work with law enforcement to identify suspects in high profile cold cases through the genetic genealogy techniques she developed and pioneered for individuals of unknown parentage searching for their biological families and genetic roots. Her work has helped reunite thousands of family members through "The DNA Detectives." She is also the genetic genealogist (eight seasons) and a producer (Season 5) for the PBS TV series "Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr." She has appeared on many news shows such a 60 Minutes, 20/20, 48 Hours, and The Dr. Oz Show, showcasing her innovative and cutting edge work, and served as a consultant for many media projects.
