We finally got our first look at Ben Affleck’s Batman in The Flash movie, thanks to photos taken from the film’s Glasgow, Scotland set, where the Dark Knight could be seen zooming through George Square and the surrounding streets on a brand new set of wheels. The scene in question, which actually featured stunt double Rick English in the new Batsuit and not Affleck, seemed to be a daytime chase through the streets of Gotham City, with a humvee shooting back at Batfleck’s heavily armored ride.
English, who was also a stunt double for Robert Pattinson in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, can be seen riding the new Batcycle (the official name of the vehicle hasn’t been announced yet) in the set photo below:

Peter Parker got a Stark-approved upgrade to his suit at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, as the Iron Spider armor was unveiled for the very first time. Though Peter turned down the suit, as well as the official Avenger status that came with it, he soon changed his mind in Infinity War when the world needed all the help it could get in defeating Thanos. Despite the name, though, the McU’s Iron Spider armor only superficially resembles the one from the comics.
Some new concept art from Ed Natividad that was done up for Homecoming reveals what might’ve been, though. The mock-up of an early version of the scene where Iron Man presents the new suit to Peter features a rendering of the Iron Spider outfit that’s practically lifted straight off the page, complete with a red and gold color scheme and the appendages that extend from the back of the suit.

One of the cooler aspects of developing a Batman movie is that you don’t just get to reimagine one of the most famous superheroes of all time, but you also get to redesign all his awesome toys.
Each screen incarnation of Batman has been mirrored by his Batmobile: from 60s nuclear age chic, to Anton Furst’s amazing 1989 art-deco version, to Christian Bale’s militaristic and aggressive looking Tumbler. Ben Affleck’s take on the role in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was no different, his ride bristling with guns and heralding a Caped Crusader who’s stopped taking any shit. Now, we’re learning that Justice League was set to follow in these footsteps by giving Batman a.. uh.. floating motorbike?
The design was sketched out by concept artist Ed Natividad, who’s explained the idea (and why it was ditched) for Film Sketchr, saying:

Over the course of Batman’s expansive cinematic history, the Caped Crusader has enjoyed no shortage of vehicles. Most notable of them has been the Batmobile, his highly stylized car that has appeared in some form or fashion in every movie he’s appeared. Still, there have been other methods of transportation, like, for instance, the Batwing and even the Batskiboat.
But one notable omission, at least in my view, has been that of the Batcycle. Sure, we may have seen the Batpod in The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, but the Batcycle hasn’t been seen in its purest form since Adam West wore the cowl. And before you split hairs with us, we’re well aware that it’s appeared in animation and comics in the time since; we’re talking live action here.
Believe it or not, it came close to appearing in Justice League,...

Suicide Squad was quite the polarizing and interesting project to follow last year. More than any other film in the DC Extended Universe thus far, it felt like a scattered and disparate experience. That’s not entirely a coincidence, of course.
Since the film’s release, there have been tons of stories surrounding what’s ended up on the cutting room floor. Most notably, we’ve heard Jared Leto mention that they shot a whole lot more Joker footage than we ended up getting out of the movie — much to the chagrin of fans everywhere. Prior to the release of the movie, there was even a figure of the Joker that showed him in a vandalized version of the Batsuit. This would have been crazy cool to have seen in screen, but like a lot of things, it never ended up there.

So….Suicide Squad‘s an Oscar winner now. Say that out loud to yourself a few times. Feels weird, doesn’t it? Believe it or not, though, David Ayer’s film was given an Academy Award last night and the movie is now back on people’s minds. That’s why it’s quite appropriate then that a new batch of concept art has landed online which is rather interesting. Unlike previous images which simply showed alternate costumes or designs for Task Force X, this one includes something that’s sure to catch fans’ attention.
Seen in the gallery below, you’ll find several drawings of the Dark Knight, the Joker, the Batmobile and much more, all of which is worth a look, but what might stick out the most is the photo of Scarecrow. Yes, it seems that at one point, the iconic Batman villain was set to feature...

Production designer Oliver Scholl has released a ton of concept art from Edge of Tomorrow. The film is based on the Japanese graphic novel, All You Need Is Kill. The artwork you see below was created by Steve Burg, Tani Kunitake, Ed Natividad, Jeff Julian, Harald Belke and many more. Exo-Suit Designs The story unfolds in a near future in which a hive-like alien race, called Mimics, have hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, shredding great cities to rubble and leaving millions of human casualties in their wake. No army in the world can match the speed, brutality or seeming prescience of the weaponized Mimic fighters or their telepathic commanders. But now the world’s armies have joined forces for a last stand offensive against the alien horde, with no second chances. Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Cruise)...

I imagine there were a ton of different costume designs created for Man of Steel during the development phase. I really liked what they ended up using, but here's a series of concept art created by Ed Natividad that shows us what could have been. They include different Superman and Zod costume designs, and one features our hero sporting his classic red underwear. Click on the images to enlarge. Do you like any of these more than the ones used in the film?

If you haven't seen the film then skip this introduction and just view the images, or just click back. I will discuss spoilers here. Also, go see the movie, it's pretty good. Much of what Tom Cruise's character (Jack) knows in the film, turns out to be a flatout lie. One major revelation, is that the alien scavengers (scavs) aren't actually aliens at all. They turn out to be humans, lead by always wonderful, Morgan Freeman. Sure, they disguise themselves, resembling the Sand People in Star Wars, but underneath the mask and armor is a human being. Heck, they even walk on all fours and use voice modulators just to conceal their humanity from the evil, all-seeing drones. Well, come take a look at some alternate versions of the Scav costumes illustrated by artist, Ed Natividad. As well as, designs of the Scavs' weaponry and vehicles, like a dog sled.

Collider has been provided with these fantastic storyboards that have never seen the light of day by Star Wars Insider Magazine. Like any movie sequences are boarded but never make it to film, but with Star Wars there is something special about the entity. Even commonplace unused storyboards still have some value to the fans. This one is of particular interest not just because it depicts a battle sequence, but because it involves Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn. During pre-production on the first Star Wars prequel, artists pitched battle concepts showing the Jedi-led attack on Theed before penetrating the hangar during the film’s climatic battle. While the sequence didn’t make the final film, Ed Natividad drew up some storyboards for the fight. The magazine will be publishing the full storyboard sequence in their celebratory issue, and we’ve got a few of the images to share with our readers.

Part 2 of our detailed look at the costumes in Tron Legacy. After examining the overall creation and construction of the light suits, we have now moved onto specific design elements for individual characters.
Garrett Hedlund as Sam Flynn
The only son of Kevin Flynn, Sam is 27 years old, daredevil, rebellious and haunted by the unexplained disappearance of his father. He is sucked into the Grid while following up a mysterious message apparently sent from inside his father’s old video games arcade.
Hedlund’s primary costume is a disc game suit. It was far and away the most difficult for associate costume designer Christine Bieselin Clark and her team to get light into and unsurprisingly it also ate the most PP3 9V battery life, lasting only 10 minutes per charge maximum. Entry to the suit was via asymmetric zip running the length of the spine and carefully integrated into the seam.
