- Wrote the book "The Adventures of Phoebe Zeit-Geist", published by Grove Press in 1968.
- Wrote the book "The Incredible, Thrilling Adventures of the Rock", published by Random House in 1968.
- Wrote for "The National Lampoon" magazine, where he was also a Contributing Editor (1970 - 1971), Senior Editor (1972) and Editor (1973 - 1974).
- Wrote, produced and starred in National Lampoon's first comedy album, "Radio Dinner" in 1972, with Tony Hendra and Christopher Guest.
- Was a writer, actor and the creative director for The National Lampoon Radio Hour in 1973.
- Wrote the Broadway revue "Gilda Radner - Live From New York" in 1979.
- Wrote several unproduced screenplays including "Biker Heaven" (intended to be a sequel to "Easy Rider"), "Dream Master" and "Planet of the Cheap Special Effects".
