Long-time director, producer, and, most recently, executive producer Albert Alarr was fired from Days of Our Lives following a misconduct investigation.
The complaints said Alarr was known for making staffers feel "uncomfortable and humiliated."
Former cast member Lisa Rina said that after her last visit to the Days spinoff, Beyond Salem, "I couldn't believe the work environment. It was disgusting. I was shocked."
The investigation took nine weeks, and originally Alarr was going to keep his job but be reprimanded and sent right back to work. But cast and crew said they'd had enough, as over 25 of them signed a petition demanding that Alarr be determined.
Our TV Fanatics and avid Days of Our Lives fans, Jack Ori, Laura Nowak, and Christine Orlando, are here to break down what happened and how it may have affected what we've seen on screen and will see in the future.

Is there a chance that Delilah and Eddie could become a couple after her visit on A Million Little Things Season 5 Episode 9?
Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori, Jasmine Blu, and Christine Orlando debate Eddie's romantic prospects, Walter's assisted living dilemma, Gary's dreams, and more!
And do Sophie and Tyrell have a future? Read on to find out what our round table thinks.
Do you agree with Eddie's claim that things didn't work out between him and Delilah because the timing wasn't right?
Jack: Not at all. It didn't work out because Delilah was only using Eddie to distract her from her problems with Jon, and she then made other selfish decisions, like moving to France with Charley.
Jasmine: Yeah, no. I mean, the timing wasn't right because they were both married. I think that was a cop-out answer. I really never understood their compatibility, and it never worked because Delilah is consistently awful.

Regina's food truck was robbed on A Million Little Things Season 5 Episode 2!
Should Regina and Sophie have been better prepared? Is Maggie's boss really all that bad? Is Eddie too insecure to start dating?
Our TV Fanatics, Jack Ori, Jasmine Peterson, and Christine Orlando, are here to debate Maggie's reaction to Colton, if Regina and Sophie were naive, Rome and Walter's driving game, and more!
Should Rome have had an honest conversation with his father about his possible memory issues instead of their driving game?
Jack: I think so. The driving game was dangerous for the exact reason that Walter realized at the end: although he was fine during the drive, he drove to the wrong place because of his memory issues.
Rome had already lied to him, and Walter had responded by trying to buy a new car when he was well aware of the lie. It was time for the games to stop.

(*Christine Orlando is stepping in for Jack Ori for this week's Days of Our Lives review.)
A lot was packed into this week on Days of Our Lives as the residents of Salem celebrated Juneteenth, a wedding, and suffered through the aftermath of a murder.
For Abe and Paulina's wedding, Days does one of the things that it does best. Make viewers believe it's possible to throw together an elegant wedding on a whim.
I didn't think I'd be excited for Abe and Paulina 2.0, but the wedding was lovely, and I found myself rooting for this couple. Plus, Big Mama was there to celebrate and educate the characters and audience about the Juneteenth holiday.
Some fans have complained that the Juneteenth explanation was heavy-handed, but unfortunately, it needed to be. Back in my day, the entire topic of slavery took up about one paragraph in our chapter about the Civil War.

What a finale.
The end of A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 20 delivered quite a blow when we learned that Gary is battling cancer yet again. It was the most shocking moment of the season finale.
For the last time in 2022, join TV Fanatics Laura Nowak, Christine Orlando, and Jack Ori as they discuss it all.
Despite worries, A Million Little Things scored a midseason renewal. React.
Laura: I wish we didn't have to wait until 2023, but I'm relieved we'll get more of Gary/Maggie's baby journey and other stories. I think it needs a final season to wrap things up.
Christine: I'm thrilled that we get more but disappointed that we have to wait so long to see it and that it will likely be a shortened season. I'd like to see the show keep going, but if this will be the final season, I hope the network makes...

Did Anna really kill Peter?
We're back to asking that questions, thanks to Kai's revelation onA Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 19. We also speculate about what's in store for the season finale.

Are you concerned that Tyrell is allowing Vali to influence him too much? Why do you think he no longer wants to go to Yale now?
Christine: Yes! He's dreamed of going to Yale. A few weeks ago, no other school would do, and now he's decided he's not going?!?
My guess is that Vali doesn't want him to leave her, so she's convinced him not to go.
I don't know which is worse. That Vali appears to be actively trying to isolate Tyrell from the people who love him and get him to ditch his dreams, or that Tyrell seems...

Katherine may have found herself in a love triangle.
Shanice's return brought about some complex feelings for Katherine on A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 18 and challenged her relationship with Greta. Meanwhile, a mysterious redhead elicits some questions.
Join TV Fanatics Christine Orlando, Laura Nowak, and Jack Ori as they discuss everything.
Are Tyrrell and Vali moving too fast? How do you think their relationship will affect Gina and Val?
Christine: Yes, but they're young and have obviously fallen hard for one another. With Tyrell going off to Yale in a few months, that could be the inevitable end to this relationship, but that doesn't mean it won't be messy or painful.
Hopefully, Gina and Val can help guide their kids while still keeping enough distance that their friendship doesn't get sucked into the impending drama...but that won't be easy.
Laura: I suspected they might be dating after the last episode.

Are you happy Val is reconnecting with her daughter? How much did you enjoy Gina and Tyrrell spending time together?
Christine: I am happy that Val was able to begin rebuilding a relationship with her daughter. Val's worked hard to put her life back together, and her daughter should know that.
But Gina and Tyrell were my favorite. Rome and Tyrell are so close, but it was nice to see how parenting Tyrell has affected Gina and how much she will miss him as he leaves for college. This was a sweet scene between the two of them.

They hit us with a major shocker!
Peter is dead, and by the end of Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 16, we may have another murder mystery on our hands, and Anna is the prime suspect.

How much did you enjoy Sophie and Danny spending time together? Did you hope Danny would take Sophie on her offer to stay with her in the States?
Christine: I loved that these two got to bond as they sorted through old memories and packed up the house together. (But shouldn't that be Delilah's job!)
It would be great to have Danny around more often, but as a parent, I can't imagine giving the okay for Danny to live with his big sister, who is frequently on the road. As mature as Danny is, he needs more stability and supervision than that.

The fun-filled A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 15 had Gary's good news about his lump, Anna and Greta's first group event, and more.

What would you grade the overall episode?
Laura: I'd give it an A. It felt very old-school.
Christine: I'll give it a B+. I enjoyed it because it gave us so many scenes with the entire friend group, but as I didn't expect Gary's cancer to return, I didn't feel the emotional pull I thought I should.
Jack: I'll give it an A-. I enjoyed all the scenes with the entire friend group, but I was irritated with Katherine's treatment of Eddie re: Anna drinking. Other than that, I thought it was a great episode.

Christine: I was relieved that Rome got to confront the man without making him the focus of the documentary shown at the school.
As much as calling him out in such a public way would have been satisfying, it also would have given the man too much power. Rome needed to call out his former teacher in a more personal setting, and he was able to do that.

My one pet peeve was that an adult should have stayed with Katherine the night she came home from the hospital. Even though she's wearing a heart monitor, Theo shouldn't be the only person there if something goes wrong.

Can we expect another round of Maggie and Gary?
One of the final cliffhangers that likely had fans talking after A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 8 was Gary closed a chapter of his life with Darcy and Liam and had an epiphany about Maggie joining her for a potentially dangerous road trip.
Rome also expressed he was experiencing a relapse in his depression.

Are you relieved that they didn't go down the infidelity route with Rome? How do you feel about revisiting his depression?
Laura: I'm very relieved they didn't have Rome cheat. I can see how the last six months could have been hard on Rome. His wife was gone, his foster son was gone, his movie was in flux. I'm not surprised he's struggling, and dealing with depression is a regular struggle, so I'm glad they're showing that.

For the first time, she's allowing herself to look outside all the roles she's supposed to fill and figure out what truly makes her happy. Maybe that's Shanice or another woman, and perhaps it's not, but I'm glad she's open to exploring those feelings and seeing where it leads her.

On a scale of 1-10, how surprised at you by the romantic turn teased between Katherine and Shanice? How do you feel about it?
Christine: I give it a 9 for the surprise. I didn't see that coming.
I'm curious to see where this goes. Could Shanice be more than a friend? Katherine just finished sharing how her life has been full of things she "should" do and who she "should" be.
What if that included being anything but heterosexual? How many people have never considered anything else because of societal pressure?
I don't know where they're headed with this, but...

Can Maggie find the right balance between helping those in need and meeting the time restraints of radio?
Laura: I think that will be challenging for her because Maggie's first concern is to help people. It will be interesting if she can make it work.
Christine: This is going to be an adjustment. Maggie has been in private practice a long time. Now she has minutes to work with someone, not weeks or months.
Maggie needs to realize that her goal is now to find a short-term solution and point people in the right direction for more help, but she can't...

Did anyone see Gary and Christopher working together on that night coming?
It was the biggest shock of A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 1, and it was an hour that also saw the departures of Delilah and Tyrell, and Eddie getting a new apartment and making headway in finding the person who hit him.
Join TV Fanatics Christine Orlando, Laura Nowak, and Jack Ori as they discuss the premiere.
Do you think Eddie will become too obsessed with finding the woman who hit him?
Christine: Yeah, I think searching for her is going to become his new obsession. He thought he had made peace with never knowing who hit him, but now that Eddie's heard her voice, I don't think he can let that go. So Eddie is going to try and track her down. What did Gary do?!
It's one of the biggest cliffhangers from A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 17 and A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 18, and it has our round table reeling, along with Delilah's audacity, the state of Darcy/Gary and Katherine/Eddie, and much more.

A Million Little Things Round Table: Rome & Sophie's Powerful Talk, Darcy Confusion, & Delilah Dread
Romany Malco and Lizzy Greene delivered one of the rawest, most powerful conversations of the series.
Elsewhere on A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 16, Darcy and Alan implied they gave Gary and Katherine ultimatums, and Gina made a seemingly rash decision about Someday.
Join Christine Orlando, Jack Ori, and Meaghan Frey as they discuss the hour.
What did you think of Sophie and Rome's discussion about mental health, Jon, and more? How about her decision to go to the police?
Christine: That was one of the best scenes of the series. Jon's suicide will have ripple effects for a lifetime, and it's important that they talk about that.
Rome suffers from depression and has been suicidal. Sophie's father committed suicide, and not only has she had to process that as a teen, but she's now dealing with being sexually assaulted. It took a lot of guts for Sophie to broach this subject with Rome,...

The truth about fandom icon Joss Whedon shocked Whedonverse fans worldwide when it came to light at the beginning of 2021.
After Ray Fisher came forward about his negative experiences on the set of Justice League, Charisma Carpenter, star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Series, came forward to back him up.
Michelle Trachtenberg, Amber Benson, and Sarah Michelle Gellar all backed Charisma up on her claims and co-stars David Boreanaz, Anthony Stewart Head, and Eliza Dushku.
As big fans of many of Joss's works over the years, many of us are still reeling from these revelations, so TV Fanatics, Leora Waltuch, Jessica Lerner, Christine Orlando, and Justin Carriero sat down to discuss our reactions.
Leora: What did Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Series mean to you in the past, and how might that have changed in light of recent events?

Read on for our thoughts.
Were you surprised that Madison backed out of the wedding? Do you think she made the right decision?
Christine: Yes and yes.
I was so looking forward to their wedding. Kevin seems happier and more grounded than I’ve ever seen him, but if he’s not truly in love with Madison, then they shouldn’t get married.
Madison has spent a lifetime being told to settle for what she can get, and she’s right; she deserves to be loved.

Read on for our Round Table team's takes on everything from Beth's next move to what we thought was the most emotional scene of the hour.
What do you think Beth should do next now that she's had to close her dance studio?
Carissa: I am not convinced it will be closing. We've seen the future, and she's got a successful studio. Whatever she does, it will be only a bridge to larger success.
Sarah: I agree with Carissa.
Beth's dreams of running a dance studio may look bleak right now, but we've seen the future.

From the writers to the actors, everyone brought their A-game to shed light on a deeply unsettling issue in our society.
Too often, shows get this storyline wrong. Adult and teenage relationships are glorified on television shows 99% of the time. They don't show the abuse of power that is actually taking place as someone is groomed.

Katherine forgave him when he was too drunk to be there when Theo was born. She forgave him when he cheated on her with Delilah. She loves Delilah and Eddie's baby and helps care for her.

Did you expect the series to resolve Maggie's pregnancy so quickly with only Gary knowing about it? What did you think about Maggie stating that cancer still controls her and robs her of making decisions?
Christine: Wow. I didn't expect that at all. But ending the pregnancy makes sense, as does ending it as early as possible.
All of the cancer treatments Maggie had within the year increased the likelihood of severe birth defects, miscarriage, and stillbirth. Just when Maggie feels like she's getting her life back, it feels like cancer robs her of pieces of it yet again.

Now that This Is Us is back, there's a lot to talk about!
This Is Us Season 5 Episode 10 featured Toby and Kevin butting heads, Malik turning to Randall, and more.
Our TV Fanatics Sarah Little, Christine Orlando, Carissa Pavlica, and Jack Ori discuss who was right in the tiff between Toby and Kevin, what should happen next now that Carol is staying indefinitely, and what our favorite moments were. Read on!
Toby was offended at Kevin's offer to help out after learning about his job loss. Who was right: Kevin, Toby, or both of them?
Sarah: I don’t know if it was a matter of right or wrong, it was just misplaced anger.
Toby was mad at himself and the world and took it out on Kevin. You can’t really blame Toby, even though he said some harsh things.
He was rightfully upset and he is human. Thankfully,...

Another baby is on the way.
Maggie's pregnancy is just one big development on A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 5, as Covid hits Boston and affects the entire gang.
Join TV Fanatics Meaghan Frey, Christine Orlando, and Jack Ori as they discuss the hour.
Maggie is pregnant, presumably with Jamie's child. React!
Meaghan: I feel so discombobulated at this point with the timeline. Is there any chance that it could be Gary's? I guess even if it has been a while, it could still be Gary's, and she just didn't realize she was pregnant because she could be irregular from the chemo.
Don't get me wrong, I like Jamie, but we don't really know very much about him, and who knows at this point now that Covid is hitting the show, how long it will be until he pops back up again? It is tough to get invested in...

This Is Us again blended past, present, and future as several branches of the Pearson family tree took their babies home for the first time.
This Is Us Season 5 Episode 9 was an emotional hour that also featured Kevin dreaming about Jack, Kate pushing Ellie to be part of baby Hailey's life, and another glimpse into the future.
Our TV Fanatics Carissa Pavlica, Christine Orlando, Sarah Little, and Jack Ori discuss which car ride home was the most emotional, how perfect Jack's advice to Kevin was, and what our favorite moments were from this poignant episode. Read on!
Which of the car rides/new baby storylines did you find most poignant? Why?
Carissa: Jack and Rebecca's because of how it ended.
Jack came clean about drinking, and then, with the babies finally asleep, then Everything I Own by Bread plays over all of their stories after they realized they made a family.

The next generation's Big Three is here!
On This Is Us Season 5 Episode 8, Madison and Ellie both gave birth at the same time, while Rebecca remembered Jack's struggle to let go as the original Big Three became teenagers.
Our TV Fanatics Carissa Pavlica, Sarah Little, Christine Orlando, and Jack Ori discuss the births, Toby's encounter in the parking lot, and what the most emotional moment was. Read on!
Ellie looked like she was going to decide to keep her baby after all but just wanted to say hello and goodbye before she gave her to Kate. What did you think of this twist?
Carissa: It wasn't a twist; it was the typical This Is Us fakeout. I knew she wasn't going to do that, but I still think she's going to be involved in their lives in some way. I hope so, anyway.
Sarah: I should've known it was the fakeout,...

Kevin can't seem to catch a break.
On This Is Us Season 5 Episode 7, he rushed off the set when he learned Madison was in labor, just to lose his ID while helping rescue an injured man from a burning car.
Our TV Fanatics Carissa Pavlica, Christine Orlando, Sarah Little, and Jack Ori discuss whether Kevin did the right thing, whether we liked the twist of him turning out not to be the one involved in the accident, and all other things This Is Us.
Rate the twist of Kevin not being the person involved in the accident from 1 (I totally saw this lame twist coming) to 10 (I was flabbergasted.)
Carissa: I think lame and flabbergasted are similar terms, so I'm not sure how to rate on your scale.
However, I was relieved. That's a trope used too often, and allowing Kevin to make a tough decision for the right reasons was a much better option.

Kate confronted Marc, Randall got a surprising message, and Kevin and Madison butted heads over how much traveling he should do for work.
This Is Us Season 5 Episode 5 allowed our favorite Pearsons to confront their past and decide what their futures needed to hold!
Our This Is Us Round Table team Carissa Pavlica, Christine Orlando, Sarah Little, and Jack Ori discuss Kate's decision to stand up to Marc, Randall's reaction to the news about his birth mom, and what we hope the rest of This Is Us Season 5 has in store.
Kate decided to confront Marc about their past. React!
Carissa: It worked for me because it took the luster off of her recollection of him.
No, she didn't have fond memories. But she still remembered him as the guy she had feelings for who treated her horribly.
Seeing him 20 years later reminds her how young and anxious she was,...

Eddie is taking meds in secrecy, but he and Katherine are working on their intimacy issues.
Meanwhile, Gary has sought help from Maggie when Darcy's Ptsd gets concerning on A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 4. And with that, the midseason finale left things on an okay note.
Join TV Fanatics Christine Orlando, Jack Ori, Meaghan Frey and Berea Orange as they discuss the episode!
Did Gary get carried away defending Sophie at her audition? Did you expect that Sophie would want to take up music professionally and attend a music institute?
Christine: Other than guitar lessons with Eddie, which were pretty generic, we had no clue that Sophie was considering continuing her education in music. Lizzie Greene, the actress who plays Sophie, has a beautiful voice and is genuinely talented, so I'm happy to see the show run with this.
As for Gary, I loved when he said, "This helicopter mom energy is mesmerizing.

The Lake House mystery ended, and Eddie made a shocking decision by the end of A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 3.
Elsewhere, Maggie and Jamie hooked up, and Gary helped Danny with a bully.
Join TV Fanatics Christine Orlando, Meaghan Frey, and Jasmine Blu as they discuss the hour.
What are your thoughts on Reverend Stewart and Eddie's scenes? Does the conclusion of the Lake House mystery make sense? Who do you think hit Eddie?
Christine: I love a good mystery, but this one is a convoluted mess. It doesn't help that they rehashed much of this plot last season, and since we haven't revisited those characters, I'm left trying to remember where each of them falls into this story.
The Reverend trying to protect Colleen over Alex's death makes sense, but wouldn't the coroner have done a toxicology screen on the body either way? And the Reverend pretending that...

All of Salem learned that Ava was alive, Joey was released from prison, Chad accused Abigail of having an affair, while Gwen stoked Jennifer's paranoia this week on Days of Our Lives.
Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando debate Ava and Joey's returns, Chad's accusations, Kate's secrets, and what was most annoying in Salem this week.
And if you'd like to join in on future round tables, check out MyHourglass, a Days of Our Lives fan forum for more info...
Now that all of Salem knows that Ava is back from the dead, how do you rate her return? From 1 (Can she go back to being dead?) to 10 (I'm thrilled that Dr. Rolf saved her.)
Jack: I'm giving it a 2. Ava is my least favorite villain. She looks like she belongs in one of the Marvel series on the CW, and she's totally one-note, never doing anything except...

Alex's father made his way to the Saville's doorstep, Maggie and Jamie are getting close, and Darcy agreed to help Eddie for Katherine.

Join TV Fanatics Christine Orlando, Meaghan Frey, and Jasmine Blu as they discuss the hour.
How well do you think the show is handling Eddie's disability storyline? What do you like about it, and what, if anything, would you change?
Christine: So far, I think it's doing a good job. It is a massive challenge for Eddie and his family, and they will struggle with some things.
I'm being nitpicky, but I was a little surprised he didn't already have physical therapy scheduled before he left the hospital.

Kayla ordered Steve to kick Tripp out of the house, Eli went off on Lani, and Gabi and Rafe considered leaving town just as Chloe returned to Salem.
Our TV Fanatic Christine Orlando is joined by Kayla and DoolFan4Life from MyHourglass, a Days of Our Lives fan forum, to debate Kayla's ultimatum, Lani's latest tantrum, Chloe's return, which storyline they are most tired of, and more!
Was Kayla right to tell Steve that Tripp has to move out?
Kayla: I don't think she was right at all. Tripp is family, and family sticks together through thick and thin no matter how crazy or messed up things can be.
DoolFan4Life: I don't think it's right or wrong. Kayla feels uncomfortable, and even though the audience has not bought this story about Tripp being a rapist, I can honestly say that Kayla's reaction is normal as she believes he did this.
