Harris and Jesse Lasky, the Fulton Theatre was constructed in 1911 as a dinner theater, but remained so for less than 7 months before being converted to a "normal" legitimate theatre, remodeled for 895 seats. It was renamed The Helen Hayes Theatre in 1955 and demolished in 1982 for a Marriott Hotel.
