- Jean-Jacques Perrey was born on January 20, 1929 in Amiens, France. He was a composer and actor, known for Savages (2012), Ocean's Eight (2018) and The Hilarious House of Frightenstein (1971). He died on November 4, 2016 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
- He was in medical school when he met inventor Georges Jenny, the creator of the Ondioline, an electronic keyboard capable of creating a wide variety of sounds and a precursor to modern synthesizers. He quit medical school and began promoting the Ondioline. He began recording electronic music in 1952. He became one of the first Moog synthesizer musicians, releasing several albums in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
