- Tony Rosato was born on December 26, 1954 in Naples, Campania, Italy. He was an actor and writer, known for Night Heat (1985), SCTV (1976) and Seeds of Doubt (1998). He was married to Leah Murray. He died on January 10, 2017 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

- In 2005 he was charged with criminally harassing his wife. He spent two years in jail awaiting trial before he was diagnosed with Capgras syndrome, a condition that made him believe his wife and daughter had been replaced by impostors. He was committed to a mental institution.
