He is sometimes confused with actor Joel Grey and vica versa. Due to
this, Grey guest-starred on Alias (2001) as a man brainwashed into thinking
he was the evil terrorist-spy Arvin Sloane, who was played by
Rifkin.
He was awarded the 1993 Drama Logue Award for Outstanding Performance for "The Substance of Fire" at the Mark Taper Forum Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
Appeared in two movies in 2002 with animals for titles, Tadpole (2002) and
Dragonfly (2002). Coincidentally, he'd previously appeared in the film Wolf (1994)
as well.
