Contains spoilers for Neighbours.
Last year’s announcement that Neighbours was ending prompted the return of its prodigal children. Not just the on-screen ones journeying to Ramsay Street to reunite with lost loves/burn down Lassiters/marry Paul Robinson, but also us – the Aussie soap’s lapsed viewers. We came back too, sticking one last hopeful hand into the cookie jar of nostalgia, hoping to feel… well, anything.
The only problem: Neighbours was unrecognisable. There was no Helen Daniels and Bouncer had long retired to the big farm in the sky. If you’d drifted away at some point between the third Lucy Robinson and the plane crash that turned Harold Bishop into the Erinsborough strangler, then this is for you. Here’s a handy guide to Neighbours’ current plots and characters. Never ask ‘Who’s Paige? again.
What Happened In the Finale?

Ramsay Street is gearing up to welcome a few more familiar faces.
Seven long-time characters are joining Amazon Freevee’s continuation of Australian soap “Neighbours.” The new additions include Annie Jones (as Jane Harris), Rebekah Elmaloglou (as Terese Willis), Georgie Stone (as Mackenzie Hargreaves) and Tim Kano (as Leo Tanaka). All cast members will return as series regulars.
Meanwhile, those returning in guest roles are Ian Smith (as Harold Bishop), April Rose Pengilly (as Chloe Brennan) and Melissa Bell (as Lucy Robinson). They will be joined by “Neighbours” stalwarts Stefan Dennis, Alan Fletcher, Ryan Moloney and Jackie Woodburne, who were previously announced.
The new chapter of the long-running soap series — which centers on the residents of Ramsay Street in a fictional suburb of Melbourne — follows the July 2022 series finale.
“Neighbours” ran for more than three decades and nearly 9,000 episodes before being canceled in early 2021 when the show’s primary funder,...

If you’d do it for Eurovision, then my god man, do it for Ramsay Street. On Friday the 29th of July (Thursday the 28th in Australia), open your home and your heart and pour one out for the Erinsborough crew. Because these people deserve a send-off. For 37 years, they’ve been trapped in a washing machine cycle set to stress (intense soil). Kidnappings, drownings, deadly rivalries, adultery, murder, Karl Kennedy… They’ve each had to stand in line and take their turn burning down the Lassiters Complex, getting amnesia and marrying Paul Robinson, and why?
For us, that’s why, to beam some bright Australian sunshine into our grey, grey lives. Throwing them a farewell party is the least we can do in return. But how to go about it? What snacks to prepare, or decorations to rustle up? What’s the playlist and the dress code? Don’t...

Is ITV really going to bring back Cold Feet?
That's the rumour, with the broadcaster apparently looking to plug the Downton-shaped hole in its schedule with a revival of the popular comedy-drama.
If it's true, they'll have a job bringing the cast back together - some have gone on to be huge telly and film stars, while others have stepped out of the spotlight entirely...
James Nesbitt
Nesbitt's carefree lothario Adam Williams met his match in Helen Baxendale's Rachel - the couple overcame infidelity and infertility but were denied lasting happiness when Rachel was killed in a traffic accident.
Since Cold Feet wrapped, Nesbitt has become one of British television's most in-demand leading men.
He fronted BBC One's gritty cop series Murphy's Law from 2003-07, led Steven Moffat's supernatural thriller Jekyll - also in 2007 - and played the title character in ITV's short-lived medical drama Monroe (2011-12).

Benedict Cumberbatch is mounting up as Richard III. The "Sherlock" star sports long locks as the English monarch in the first image from "The Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Roses" (embedded below), a followup to 2012's BAFTA-winning BBC telefilms "The Hollow Crown." This new installment of Shakespeare adaptations will feature filmed versions of the playwright's first tetralogy of historical plays: "Henry VI, Part I," "Henry VI, Part II," "Henry VI, Part III" (the three of which will be released in two parts) and "Richard III." Principal photography on the films began Wednesday in the U.K. In addition to the image, a round of new cast members have been announced for the adaptations including Michael Gambon, Philip Glenister, Andrew Scott, Jason Watkins, Samuel West, Stanley Townsend, Adrian Dunbar, Geoffrey Streatfeild, Ben Daniels, Ben Miles, Sam Troughton, Stuart McQuarrie, Anton Lesser, Kyle Soller, Phoebe Fox, James Fleet and Lucy Robinson.
