Adrian Rogers was born and raised in 1960's Wales in the United Kingdom where he discovered a dual passion for photography and sailing. On leaving school he pursued adventure traveling extensively around the world by sea. He bought his first new camera, an all black Pentax MX 35mm, while calling in at Kuwait in 1979. After some years photographing his travels he decided to pursue a career in photography studying at Blackpool College of Photography until 1985. Then, through to the late 1980's, to London to assist and learn from some of the best known and most creative fashion & advertising photographers. Into the 90's Adrian remained in London photographing advertising and publicity commissions which led to shooting stills for film/TV productions. Feeling very much at home on the film & TV set he went on to accept many more requests to shoot both 'unit' and 'specials' stills. To date he has been involved with over 100 different productions as well as photographing the entire first eight series of 'Doctor Who' including the merchandise images from 2004 to 2014. Adrian is a personable, versatile photographer able to work on his own initiative while gelling with and keeping in-sync with the rest of the production crew and talent.
Away from the set Adrian is an avid yachtsman, qualified to Yachtmaster Instructor he sails both commercially and for leisure.
