- Director Keva Rosenfeld has made documentaries, TV shows and commercials. He has traveled extensively shooting for Fortune 500 companies, working in Turkey, Morocco, Argentina, Portugal, Russia and The Kingdom of Bhutan. Among his industry awards is a Cannes Silver Lion.
After graduating USC Cinema School, Keva worked as a film editor on documentary subjects ranging from teenage pregnancy to prison rodeos to a look at the business of beauty.
He was invited to the Sundance Institute's Directors Lab where he developed "Twenty Bucks." The film's ensemble cast includes Steve Buscemi, Linda Hunt, William Macy and Christopher Lloyd. From Entertainment Weekly, "Rosenfeld impressively summons up the ghosts of Capra and Sturges, while keeping this tale firmly in the here and now." It won the Critic's Award at the Deauville Film Festival. Keva has directed dozens of episodes for network television, including those for NBC's Unsolved Mysteries and Universal's gritty police drama, The Street.
Keva has made short films for the United Nations Human Rights Council highlighting world poverty, and has worked on anti-drug and recycling PSA's that included Bette Midler, Queen Latifah and Stevie Wonder. His interviews with Tom Hanks and Sam Shepard are featured in "California Typewriter."
His acclaimed documentary "All American High," often cited as a real-life "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", is a time capsule of 1980's teen life. His more recent All American High Revisited includes updated footage of characters looking back at their transformative teenage years.
