- For many years he attempted to make a sequel to The Ups and Downs of a Handyman (1975). It would have been called "The Ups and Downs of a Soccer Star", and would have starred his then girlfriend Julie Lee. The project was finally put to rest in 1979.

- In the early 1970s he devised and produced what was intended to be a 13 part TV series called Go Girl (1972) starring Luan Peters as a crime fighting go-go dancer, and also starring Françoise Pascal and Leena Skoog. It was filmed on location in Marbella and Benidorm, but sadly, due to internal wrangling with HTV, the series was never broadcast, and is believed to no longer exist. However the pilot 'Give Me A Ring Sometime' was later released on a video double-bill with Rowles' Take an Easy Ride (1976) in the early 1980s.
- In the late 1970s he produced and directed The Perils of Mandy (1980). In spite of never being fully completed the filmed material was edited together and released on the video label 'Vision on Video' the same year.
