She has also been Tony-nominated six other times: as Best Choreographer, in 1996 for "Big - The Musical"; in 1997 for "Steel Pier"; and in 2002 for "Oklahoma!"; as Best Director (Musical), in 2000 for "Contact"; and as Best Director (Musical) and Best Choreographer, in 2000 for "The Music Man".

- Her dance program, "Contact", was performed at the Queen's Theatre in London in 2002 and was nominated for a 2003 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Entertainment.
- She was awarded the 1996 Drama Logue Award for Choreography for "Show Boat" in the Center Theatre Group production at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
- She was awarded the 2001 Back Stage Garland Award for Outstanding Choreography for "contact" at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
